I don't know about you but on rubbish day I hate puting out the trash. Most times, I hold my breath and screw up my face as I quickly lift the lid of the bin to throw in the garbage in the hope that I won't catch a whiff of the offending smell. Meat decaying as bacteria feasts on the amino acids in the meat's protein. Vegetables rotting and slowly liquifying as microbes attack the vegetable's cell structure and the fermenting liquids warm up and what about the diaphers! Nothing unusual here, just garbage at work. Its smells obnoxious and the flies and rats attracted by the garbage is also yueck. They spread diseases by urinating over the bins and rubbish. Serious unhealthy to you, our kids even, if it gets into our food supply by unwashed hands. I can ignore it and deny that it stinks OR I can take a proactive step to manage the odor by cleaning the bin out. But ah there's the rub. I don't have time, but truthfully I don't want to do it myself because the very idea brings a bad taste to my mouth. Just clean it and get someone else to do it.
