Celestial Altar is the earthly abode of God and his holy Angels.
And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. (Exodus 25:8-9).
The seven lamp stand represents the seven spirit of God, The altar is a sacred place.
That's why anybody who wants to go in there to minister must sanctify himself for three days just as God commanded the Israelites when he wanted to appear to them on Mount horeb in Exo19.
The lantern in the altar must be lit always, the fire mustn't be put out because it symbolises always the presence of God's holy angels in the altar always.
