While sorting some clothes tonight
I came across this in one of the clothes
And I feel like sharing what it means

Some fabrics like textiles and cotton are sensitive to water
And that is why they will note on your cloth "DRY CLEAN ONLY"(importance of reading cloth labels)
THAT MEANS YOU DON'T WASH IT USING WATER

How do you wash cloth without water??
Will talk about that in my dm

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LAUNDRY AND DRY CLEANING

Often times people get this two concept confused
It's not your fault
Na ignorance be your problem
So I will do a brief lecture on what LAUNDRY Is and What DRY CLEANING IS.

SO WHAT IS LAUNDRY
Laundry is basically it act of washing of wears, and by extension the Drying, Ironing and Folding. Laundry can be done at home and by commercial Establishments(ELITELAUNDRY)
Laundry processes include washing (usually with water containing detergents or other chemicals), agitation, rinsing, drying, pressing (ironing), and folding.
That's just the basis of Laundry

Now what is dry cleaning
Dry cleaning is a Laundry process without the use of water
You would want to ask;
"How will you was cloth without water?"
And that's where the dry cleaning comes in

Dry cleaning is cleaning process for cloth using some chemical solvents(highly flammable)
It involves liquid but clothes are socked in liquid solvent other than Water. Synthetic like viscose etc are not laundry safe.

That's the basic different
