People passing a bill that will punish the owner of the house for refusal to provide what thieves will steal are people with guilty conscience. Let there be law that will mandate compulsory transferring of election results from the polling unit to the IREF, another law to severely punish all forms of electoral malpractices, including penalties for ballot boxes snatchers, violence instigators.

House Of Reps 6-Month Jail Term And N100k Fine proposal For Nigerians Who Fail To Vote is a misnomer.

The proposed bill is a total distortion of main purpose for electoral reform, it's a favoritism towards the unjust and disregard for the people's demand for electoral reform that would ould guarantee free and fair election. It's an abuse of power for the house of assembly to waste resources in sponsoring a bill that undermines citizens right to free and fair election.

If nigerians votes are not secured, it's a crime to pass a bill for compulsory voting,if voting are not peaceful and vote of majority are not allowed to produce a leader, it's of no use to demand for compulsory voting.

“Some of you know me as Stereoman Ekwe, the voice behind “Sample Ekwe”. I once stood on the biggest stages, made the world dance. But just one false accusation almost ended my life, my career, and my peace.

I was accused of taking the life of the mother of my child, Rukayat Idris. She was found dead, and without evidence, they pointed fingers—at me.
I was thrown into a cell at Panti, treated like a criminal.
Meanwhile, I was in Holland when it happened. But that didn’t stop them from dragging my name in the mud.

No one asked for the truth.
The headlines flew. The calls stopped. The shows dried up.
People judged. Friends disappeared. Some fans walked away.

I sat in that cell, broken.
I wept. I prayed. I begged God not to let this be the end of me.

But God showed up.

Thanks to a few angels—Festus Keyamo, the Ministry of Justice, and everyone who didn’t give up on me—I was proven innocent.
But by then, the damage was done.

I lost years I’ll never get back.
I lost a part of my daughter’s life.
I lost opportunities. Respect. Peace.

But what I didn’t lose… was faith.
What I didn’t lose… was me.

Now, I’m standing again.
The music is back. The fire is back.
And slowly, I’m reclaiming my name—not as a suspect—but as an artist, a father, and a man who survived what should’ve destroyed him.
