During my inspection yesterday, my client and I were in different states but maintained communication through a call. After completing the inspection, I provided a quote for the job, which, as usual, surprised him. He inquired, 'Is it not just cleaning?' and 'Does the place look dirty?' I found amusement in his reaction. I clarified, 'The place isn't dirty, but you want it cleaned properly, right?' Interestingly, he had previously asked if I had a scrubbing machine, which I confirmed. It seems some clients expect premium services without premium pay. I didn't acquire my equipment through questionable means; a scrubbing machine alone costs nearly a million naira. I won't compromise quality for anything. Some individuals undervalue young entrepreneurs, especially cleaners. I ensure I don't put myself in such positions. To clarify, cleaning can be affordable, but professional cleaning services come at a cost. As a competent cleaning agent, my charges reflect the quality service I deliver based on client requests.
