โฆ๏ธ *Words of Comfort* โฆ๏ธ
I greet you all, once again. Hope the stress and uncertainties about the Covid-19 pandemic has not negatively overwhelmed anyone. We shall overcome this menace by God's grace. Amen.
This is yet some words of comfort, wisdom, and understanding during this Covid-19 trying times. It's good to note and to thank God that none of us has fallen victims to the deadly virus. The more reason for us to continually imbibe in the spirit of praise and worship to God Almighty, for preserving us all.
There are notable lessons to be learned from this period of isolation and lockdowns across the globe. Firstly, we are being taught and reminded that all our yearnings to posses worldly things are all vanity. We brought nothing to this world, and will definitely leave with nothing. We may wanna cross check this notion with the virally consumed during this pandemic, not to taunt or mock them. In so much words, worldly things are replaceable and as such not worthy to fight or die over.
We are also being taught the importance of families during such a hard time. Most recovered victims of the coronavirus attested to the strength of their healing *:* *Family* ! While undergoing torturous medical treatments, subconsciously, their concerns were focused on the pains and sorrow that would be accorded to the families if they were to die. Hence, they tend to fight to live, knowing that their families are there waiting and praying for their recovery....and that's who they would come back to when healed. My brothers and sisters, it's high time we start placing more value on the family bond. Once a severed bond continue in that state, it only leaves room for the unthinkable..... destruction and calamity are usually the end results.
Finally, we are being taught of the power of prayers and supplication to the *Higher BEING* , which in our case is the Lord God Almighty. This is yet another period that the whole world is coming together to fight a common cause, in unity, prayers, and action. Men and women across the globe have invoked their individual faiths in their individual beliefs, to combat the present plague. Some have become Christians, Muslims, or Buddhists overnight, all in the interest of conquering Covid-19. Though people are aware that death is inevitable, some have just recently come to realize that it's the higher being that decides who lives or dies. No amount of medicines or treatments can avert the inevitable, when God speaks. At this, I give thanks to the Almighty God for preserving our lives, and that of our loved ones. Not by power or might, " *but by my Spirit says the Lord* ." The Bible further says that, " *it's not who that runneth, but God that showeth mercy.* " I pray that the Almighty God, through Jesus Christ our Lord, have mercy on the sick, and heal them speedily in Jesus name. We will not mourn the death of any of our loved ones during this period, in Jesus name. A solemn prayer to the recently consumed individuals, may God forgive them of all their sins, and allow them to rest in eternal bliss. We shall not experience or witness such an epidemic, in our generation again. Amen
"My peace I leave with you, my peace I give you," my brothers and sisters. Let's imbibe in the spirit of peace and prayers. May God heal our families in Jesus name. Amen
