Completion of Post-Renovation Rectification Cleaning at the REEF Penthouse Unit.
Following recent property renovations, the unit required highly specialized post-construction rectification due to severe surface contamination.
Standard cleaning methods were insufficient to treat the heavy paint, adhesive residues, concrete runoff, and mineral deposits left behind.
We deployed industrial-grade chemical solutions and advanced mechanical equipment to successfully restore all affected surfaces to a pristine, hand-over standard without compromising the structural or aesthetic integrity of the property materials.
The site assessment identified four primary categories of severe post-renovation debris:
Heavy Paint Drop: Extensive, dried paint splatters and spills across primary flooring, skirting boards, and fixtures.
Gum & Adhesive Stains: Resilient tape residue, construction adhesives, and glue stains bonded to sensitive surface boundaries.
Stalagmites / Mineral Efflorescence: Hardened crystalline mineral deposits caused by water seeping through uncured concrete or grout lines, forming vertical calcifications on the flooring.
Cement & Mortar Stains: Hardened concrete splatters and grout haze bound to porous tile and stone surfaces.
To safely and effectively eliminate these contaminants, a dual-action approach combining targeted chemical chemistry and mechanical agitation was executed.
Chemical Treatment: We utilized targeted, professional-grade formulas including acidic descalers for cement and stalagmites, specialized solvents for heavy paint, and non-marring breakdown agents for the construction gum.
Mechanical Agitation: Industrial floor scrubbing machinery, high-torque rotary tools, and specialized diamond-pad/poly-scrub technology were deployed to break the physical bonds of the calcified stalagmites and hardened cement.
Neutralization & Extraction: Following mechanical suspension, all chemical residues were thoroughly neutralized and extracted using high-filtration wet vacuums to prevent surface etching or tracking.
All identified defects have been successfully rectified. The stalagmites have been entirely leveled and dissolved, paint and adhesive matrices have been eradicated, and all cement haze has been cleared. The surfaces are now fully decontaminated, sanitized, and ready for immediate occupancy
