The Interact Clubs and English Debating societies of Ananda College and Visakha Vidyalaya together initiated project 'Rhetorik' - a Novice Debating tournament - in the intention of providing a platform for novice debaters to show their talents.

The project took place on 15th, 16th and 17th of March at Ananda College premises with the participation of 30+ teams from 15 schools across the country.

Royal College Colombo secured the championship while Hillwood College Kandy became runners up.
