Ecozz Club has noble aim of promoting the awareness about global environment, its apocalyptical state on the edge of self-annihilation and ways of redeeming the destructive acts of exploitative enterprises through small but invasive and educative acts The ECOZZ club is conceived out of the realization that there are small clubs all over the world who are working to build a world that is more harmo
nious and respectful of the environment, often in dire circumstances and sans support of
any political or governmental organisation. The public is acutely unaware of the existence of such humanitarian clubs, who are reliant mainly on their own finite resources and are confronted with many appendages and bottlenecks in carrying out their activities, mainly due to lack of appropriate resources and support. Beginning about a century ago, they are altering the ecological balance of their only planet. More and more parameters of the earth system are changing due to invasive human influences. The scientific knowledge about the earth system and its current transformation becomes more confident every day. Humans now seem to influence and dominate all biological and physical systems of the planet. "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." This famous quote by Mahatma Gandhi precisely explains what the ECOZZ Club is all about. The club is imbibed with the mission to bring about a ‘change’. A change in the habits, thoughts and actions of people around us. Constituted months back, the club has grown from from its infantile stage and is progressively involved in activities which aim at spreading environmental awareness among masses and help in promoting social well being of the underprivileged in the neighboring areas. All the events, activities and fledgling endeavors are inspired by our vision of creating a more safe world and uplifting our mother earth from its current deteriorated state. Taking into account the current trends of our environment and the issues associated with it, we believe it is time we take a constructive stand and contribute to the fullest in helping Mother Nature recoup and sustain. Our purpose is to conceive an environmentalist in each student of the university, to bring a smile on the faces of underprivileged people and to work towards a brighter, cleaner and more environment friendly future. We do not claim to drastically alter the current climate change trends or bring global warming under control. But we do believe in doing our bit and hope that our contribution would help in making this world a better place to live. Our ethics: to support good will
