🏁 LEINSTER TROPHY WEEKEND 2026 🏁

What a weekend! Plenty of highs, a few lows, and definitely a weekend I won’t forget. 🏎️

Race 1 came with a great result — finishing 7th overall and 2nd in the B Championship. A brilliant way to start the weekend and gave us plenty of confidence heading into Race 2.

Race 2 was going really well too. I was running in 4th place going into the last lap, but unfortunately Melia got a little too close and clipped me, sending me into a spin off track. , but I managed to get the car going again and brought it home 12th overall.

Then came the big one — the Leinster Trophy race. 🏆

This race was extra special because it was paul Heavey’s 40th year racing, and he was due to race the Leastone car for the Leinster Trophy. Unfortunately, mechanical problems throughout the weekend meant Paul wasn’t able to race his own car.

We had a chat and I offered Paul Heavey my Leastone car, but he wouldn’t take it! 😂 We eventually came to the decision that Paul would race my car, while I jumped back into my Red Bull car.

Both of us started from the back of the grid, so it was always going to be a challenge.

Unfortunately, the Red Bull car developed some problems during the race, which meant I had to come into the pits and my race was over. 😔 Not the ending I wanted, but there was still plenty to be happy about.

I was absolutely delighted to get to watch Jordan Kelly take the Leinster Trophy win — an incredible achievement and brilliant to witness from the sidelines! Well done Jordan🏆👏

And Paul brought the car home in 11th overall, which was a fantastic result considering everything that happened over the weekend.

So, despite a few bumps along the way, we finished the weekend with plenty to be proud of. Massive thanks to Jonathan mannix and everyone who helped make the weekend happen, supported us, and got us back on track every time. ❤️

Now it’s time to get everything ready for the final race of the season at Kirkistown! 🏁🔥
