What’s the best time-saving cleaning hack you’ve ever learned?
Here are some of mine that completely changed how fast I clean:
Spray first, always.
As soon as you enter a room, spray showers, toilets, sinks, and stovetops and let the product dwell while you clean something else. Let the chemistry do the work for you.
Top to bottom, every time.
Dust fans, vents, and shelves before touching counters or floors. Gravity will make you redo work if you don’t.
One room, one caddy.
Everything you need for that room stays with you until it’s done. Fewer steps = less wasted time.
Fold microfiber cloths into quarters.
One cloth gives you eight clean sides, so you’re not constantly stopping to grab new towels or spreading grime.
Bathrooms before kitchens.
Bathrooms take the most energy. Knock them out while you’re fresh and finish strong in the kitchen and common areas.
Maintenance cleans are not deep cleans.
Focus on high-touch and high-visibility areas. Perfectionism is a major time thief.
Clean in the same order every time.
Using the same pattern in every home puts your brain on autopilot and speeds everything up.
Have a time goal for each space.
If you’re going over, move on. Momentum matters more than overworking one
