This slot would be ideal for a thorough general clean of one floor in a medium sized home with one bathroom
A full general clean of a smaller home up to 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom
A deep clean of a well-maintained small bathroom
A thorough clean of a medium kitchen

💙 Introducing… The Holistic Dreamers Project 💙

For a long time, Lisa and I have wanted to find a meaningful way to give something back to the community that has supported our little business from day one.

As many of you know, we both worked in education before starting Holistic Cleaning Services, I spent 10 years supporting children in schools and early years settings. Children have always held a very special place in our hearts 💕

So we’re incredibly proud to introduce The Holistic Dreamers Project.

Every so often, we’ll choose one child or young person whose bedroom could benefit from a little extra love.

Whether they’ve been through illness, a difficult time emotionally, family struggles or another challenge, we’d love to create a fresh, calm space where they can simply be a child again.

If selected, we hope to:
🩵 Deep clean and completely refresh their bedroom.
🩵 Organise and declutter where appropriate.
🩵 Provide fresh new bedding.
🩵 Leave a little surprise hamper to make them smile.
🩵 Create a space they can feel proud of and comfortable in.

This isn’t about judging anyone’s home. Life can be incredibly hard, and sometimes the smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference.

If you know a child who you feel deserves a little bit of magic, we’d love to hear their story. You can nominate them by sending us a private message. Please remember to obtain permission from their parent or guardian before sharing any personal information.

We’ll keep all nominations completely confidential and choose families with care and compassion.

✨ Today’s Deep Clean with a Difference ✨

Today we met a lovely and overwhelmed mum who is also a full time carer, and her beautiful daughter. ❤️ Like so many people, life has simply become a lot. Between the daily pressures of life and caring responsibilities, keeping on top of the home had become overwhelming.

This was originally booked as a deep clean, but when we arrived we explained that, realistically, we couldn’t achieve the standard of deep clean we pride ourselves on until the home had first been decluttered and organised. Rather than rushing through, we worked together to make a proper start.

Today we managed to organise and clean the kitchen, bathrooms, hallway and stairs, creating a much calmer and more manageable space.

We do want to be completely transparent and say that today’s clean wasn’t to our usual deep-clean standard. We were cleaning as we organised, so our priority was creating order and making the home functional again. Once we’ve completed the organisation throughout the rest of the house, we’ll return to carry out the detailed, high-standard deep clean we’re known for.

This is exactly why we always assess each home individually. Sometimes the first step isn’t deep cleaning it’s helping someone breathe again. 🩵

There is absolutely no judgement here. Every home has a story, and we’re incredibly proud that people trust us to help them through some of life’s most overwhelming moments.

🚨 Please Read 🚨

We don’t usually make posts like this, but after receiving a very upsetting and disrespectful message from a now former new client, we feel it’s important to address a few things.

Firstly, please take the time to read our Terms & Conditions, which are pinned at the top of our page. By booking with Holistic Cleaning Services, you are agreeing to them.

One important point is regarding photographs. We take before and after photos of our work for insurance and quality purposes and also to promote our work online, If you do not want any photographs to be shared, please let us know before your clean. We will always respect your wishes, but we do need to know in advance.

Our arrival times are always an estimate. We do everything we can to be on time, but as two mums running a busy business, there are occasions where cleans overrun, traffic happens, or family commitments unexpectedly arise. We will always keep you updated if we’re running behind.

We also do everything we can not to cancel cleans. However, like everyone else, illness or family emergencies can happen. If we ever need to rearrange your appointment, we will always offer the earliest possible alternative and appreciate your understanding.

We’d also like to mention pricing. Please don’t ask us to lower our prices or question them after your clean. We are not “quick flick over” cleaners. We provide a thorough, detailed service, and our prices reflect the time, care and standard we deliver. We completely understand if we’re not within everyone’s budget, and that’s okay.

Lastly, we’d like to address one comment that was made to us personally.

Being told that we “only clean because it’s all we can do” was incredibly hurtful.

We don’t clean because we have no other options!! we clean because we genuinely love helping people and take pride in the service we provide. We are two hardworking mums who have chosen to build this business, and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.

We will always treat our clients with kindness and respect, and we ask for the same in return. Any rude, aggressive or abusive behaviour will result in us ending the professional relationship immediately.

To the hundreds of wonderful clients and followers who continue to support us, thank you. We truly believe that most people are kind, and we’re incredibly grateful for every one of you. 💙

From September, these Tuesday slots will become regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly appointments. We thought we’d offer them as a Summer Saver first!
