Definitely not your average cleaning job! This warehouse required a specialist after-rodent clean following significant evidence of rodent activity across affected areas.

Droppings, urine contamination, nesting debris and carcasses can remain behind, creating hygiene risks that shouldn’t simply be swept or vacuumed up as part of a standard clean.

Our approach focuses on controlled removal and decontamination, including safe removal of rodent waste and carcasses, cleaning and disinfection of affected surfaces, and careful working practices designed to minimise the disturbance of contaminated material.

For warehouses and commercial premises, the clean-up stage is an important part of getting an affected area back into a safe, usable condition once the pest problem itself has been addressed.

HOARDING - When clutter becomes a safety risk!

Hoarding isn’t simply a cleaning issue. As belongings accumulate, the risks within a property can change significantly.

Blocked entrances and escape routes, restricted access to utilities, increased fire loading, trip hazards, pest activity and sanitation issues can all become part of the environment.

That’s why a hoarding clean shouldn’t begin with simply filling bags.
The property needs to be assessed, immediate hazards identified, access routes considered and the clean approached in a controlled and respectful way.

At SpitSpot, our role isn’t to judge how a property reached that point. It’s to understand the environment, manage the risks and help make the property safer and manageable again.

The priority is simple: reduce the risks, restore safe access and move the property forward.

I lose sleep thinking about my business… but in the BEST possible way. 💗

My brain just won’t switch off because I’m genuinely so excited about what we’re building with SpitSpot.

I haven’t felt this motivated, this challenged or this excited about where life is heading for a long time.

I love the direction.
I love the possibilities.
I love the people and businesses we get to work with.
I love learning about the specialist side of this industry.

And apparently, I really bloody love talking about literal s**t. 😂💩

Rodents. Biohazards. Hoarding. Trauma. Grime. Contamination.

Who knew?! 😂

But behind all the dirty stuff is the part of this business that I absolutely LOVE.

Making a difference.

We can walk into a property where somebody feels completely overwhelmed by what surrounds them.

They might be embarrassed. They might be grieving. They might have stopped inviting people inside. Or things might simply have got to the point where they don’t know how they’ll ever get their home back.

We don’t judge.

We roll our sleeves up and get to work. 💗

And slowly you start seeing the home underneath it all again.

THAT is the bit.

Seeing somebody realise that things aren’t hopeless.

Giving someone a clean, safe space again.

Helping a family through something awful.

Helping a landlord, business or property professional deal with something they simply don’t know how to tackle.

Sometimes cleaning isn’t just cleaning.

Sometimes you’re giving somebody a little bit of their life back.

I’m so bloody proud of SpitSpot Clean & Co and everything I’ve built so far.

But I’m even more excited about where we’re going next.

We’re learning. We’re growing. We’re becoming more specialist. We’re taking on bigger challenges.

And there are SO many things I want to do with this little business of mine. 💗

Well that was a hell of a weekend! Fly out Friday, drive to New Port Richey, buy car Saturday, drive back to Orlando, shopping and storage Sunday, dinner with amazing friends, drive back to New Port Richey on Monday, collect car, move it to storage drive back to MCO and fly home Monday night! Flight diverted and sat on tarmac in Liverpool for 3 hours, fly back to Manchester, train home and bed! Easy….
