This is what happens when you don’t secure your waste bins closed!
They got in when the bin was full and sunk lower as the bin was emptied by hand.
There’s actually another 6 in the bag on the bottom as they scrambled to hide as soon as I got my phone out!
7 pogoing Brown Rats is a sight to behold.....😻😻😻

This is the former St. Leonard's Church in Newton Abbot. It's currently being converted into a museum and offices by Newton Abbot Town Council. The architects who are overseeing the project recently contacted us in an effort to remove 35 years of pigeon guano from the roof spaces and seal their access points; a tall order but something we were happy to oblige with. Apart from the health issues caused by the dust produced by the dried guano, it also has acidic properties which damage both timber and stonework. It took us 3 weeks to complete and we finished with one happy customer and the roof spaces 6 tons (yes, 6 tons!!!) lighter!

This is Robin, one of our falconers, calling Scarlet back to the glove whilst carrying out bird control at a residential square and shopping precinct we work at regularly to reduce gull and pigeon activity. Scarlet, a female Harris Hawk, quite happily follows Robin around from perch to perch whilst he's on patrol as this mimics Harris Hawk behaviour in the wild.

The two Herring Gulls on the roof ridge watch us with trepidation and with good cause. This is us at a local hospital where we're about to carry out our regular egg removal programme to stop these birds nesting all over the roof. As it's become a health & safety issue for this health authority and Herring Gulls are listed on DEFRA's General Licence we can legally remove their nests & eggs as part of our control programme to restrict the colony and move it elsewhere. The danger of water reaching vital plant within the hospital because of gull debris blocking gutters & gulleys is gradually being removed and patients are finally getting a vitally needed good night's sleep!
