Maintenance Wash
So there it is again, the words “maintenance wash”... You’re probably wondering, what is a maintenance wash?
Well, let me inform you guys 😁
A maintenance wash is a proper thorough safe wash for your vehicle, they ensure that your car is washed the correct way and without causing any damage to your paintwork.
Why not just take your car to a car wash?
So... this is a big nono, when car wash bristles make contact with your paint, as much as you may think that it’s cleaning your car, would you believe me if I told you that it’s actually damaging your car!
The bristles are used on many cars and are quite rough, this means that every time you go through one of these washes, it creates swirls and scratches on your beloved paintwork :(
So now you may be thinking, ok how about hand car washes (Asda, Superstore car parks ect)
This is also a major nono.. usually in hand car washes they tend to use the same wash mitt on every car, also it’s unlikely that the car is washed using the 2 bucket method (one bucket for rinsing the mitt after each panel and the other for the shampoo’d water) some even go as far as using a brush over the whole car to clean it.. this especially will increase the swirl marks and scratches.
Many of our customers who have there car detailed and polished call us back frequently for a maintenance wash, this is because even a freshly detailed car can scratch again and eventually return to a state similar or even worse than before, we ensure that your car is cleaned throughly and safely. We will soon upload a video of what a proper wash is so you can see for yourself 😁
