This is officially our last day at unit 9..

How it started now 6 years ago, vs the building today. We wave goodbye to what has been a fantastic unit here in Rookley. 11 full years on the estate building fantastic relationships in the trade with Clients and Businesses alike.

I am so excited for what is to become of our future in Medina Avenue as both a luxury car dealership and a state of the art detailing facility.

We could never have done this alone, my business partner and friend Brandon Ross has made our new home a reality, well done mate, our relationship in business goes from strength to strength every day. I still can’t even believe we are going to be moving to this amazing site, It really is a dream come true for all of us. This collaboration started as just an idea not 15 months ago, and here we are embarking on the most exciting chapter ever with 140 cars now sold in just 1 year🫶

Riviera Sports and Prestige / Riviera Detailing is the islands new home for all things cars.. we have so much to tell you over the coming weeks but today is a fair well to what has been an amazing 11 years of serving you guys across the island from Rookley industrial estate.

Thank you for your support so far on our journey as a car care brand, we would not be here without your constant support and custom all these years.

We have some exciting news🥂

JW Autoshine has now fully rebranded to Riviera Detailing in line with our car sales company Riviera Sports and Prestige🎉🥂

As of 9th June we will be trading at our new site in Newport and leaving Rookley after 11 years of trading on the estate.

Our new site is currently under construction and we anticipate a fully working detailing studio by mid June. Updates on exact dates will follow in due course. We are very excited for this next chapter, and we will be offering all the same detailing treatments and services you are all used to and know from a new fully kitted out studio in Newport under our new brand name Riviera Detailing.

The new studio is being redesigned with a fresh new open plan layout with state of the art temperature control, lighting, additional ramps and a fantastic indoor wash bay.

Our mobile service will be unaffected and carrying on as usual with all the usual services available.

The Detailing Shop will be open and ready for customers also in June at the new site. Dates for this will be confirmed here on the socials..

Now for a crazy few days of moving everything from Rookley to Newport.

Takeover 2026!

Well that was a fantastic weekend! A massive thank you to each and every one of you that came to chat all things car care, buy some detailing goodies and of course had your pride and joys cleaned at the studio. That was our busiest weekend for car care in a very long time! So good to see so many returning customers from years gone bye and of course the newbies enjoying their first year at the show on our beautiful little island. This was indeed our 10th anniversary of providing pre show cleans and car care product sales, where has the time gone!

This was our last takeover at Rookley, with the upcoming move this marked an end of an era having so many of you down at the studio over the weekend❤️

The studio is moving and we are re branding but we will be keeping the service we provide the same and we will be attending next years show for all things Stjarnagloss, keep your eyes peeled on the socials for some very exciting developments over the coming weeks… as we embark on a very exciting new chapter…

We are open as usual for all things this week at the studio in Rookley and we will be trading up at the show ground on Sunday🙌

PRE SHOW CLEANS- 🧼

Please enter the queue as you arrive, we will have staff on hand so you can let us know you are in the wash queue, the queue starts and leads from the far right hand side of the building along the front (see pic 2) , if there is no room please wait in the hammer head at the far end as the cars go through. If you have not booked that’s fine we will get you in as quickly as possible but booked customers take priority on the day.

The shop will also be open all day from 8-6 and then transfers to the show ground, we will be up and running at the show ground from around 7:00pm and then again all day on Sunday. We will have great offers available on the day with Products and kit bags are available!

We look forward our 10th year of providing both show cleans and products to all you lovely lot over the coming few days. Have a great week here on the island and we will see you all soon✨
