Just to let all our Customers know that we retired from oven cleaning at the end of September and now reside in North Yorkshire. Thanks to all for the business and memories over last 15 years. Sorry for the late update!

Ian & Shirley are pleased to confirm that we plan to recommence our service from Monday 1st June 2020.

For clarity, we are outlining our booking and operating processes as we reopen:
(1) We will be contacting customers who had bookings postponed during the lockdown period.
(2) We will be contacting customers who have contacted us since lockdown and have been put on a follow up list.
(3) Until we are through this backlog, priority will be given to existing customers who contact us. New customers are always welcome to experience our services, however we feel it is only fair to loyal, existing customers to prioritise them.

We haven’t worked since 23rd March so as you can imagine there are a lot of postponed bookings and names on the list to get through!

We will be following the UK Government’s published guidelines “Working safely during coronavirus (COVID-19) – Other people’s homes” and should point out that we WILL NOT carry out work in a household which is isolating because one or more family members has symptoms or where an individual has been advised to shield.

In addition, there will also be the following measures in place for each home visit:

(1) Social distancing of 2 metres at all times.
(2) Our preference will be to work alone in your kitchen.
(3) Our preference will be direct access to the kitchen, via a back door if possible.
(4) As always, fresh gloves and towels are used for each clean.
(5) Upon completion all contact surfaces will be disinfected.
(6) Our preference will be Contactless Payment (when possible) via bank transfer.

We look to forward to working and seeing you all again.

Following the latest Government advice we are sorry to say that that we will be suspending our services with immediate effect.

Although our diary is fully booked through to the end of April we feel that there is no other option. It is our responsibility to be socially responsible in an attempt to stop this terrible virus.

Whilst we have no idea how long this will go on for, we shall review the situation over the coming three weeks. We will keep you posted and as soon as we know more we will update you accordingly.

Providing our services to a loyal client-base is our priority, and this has been a difficult decision to make that has not been taken lightly.

We would like to thank you all for your support during this time and we look forward to a resumption of our services when this situation passes.

In the meantime, we are at the end of the phone and email if you should need to contact us.
