Recycling old content, to show improvements can be made, but you can’t make an old bathroom new.
My experience of cleaning is that expectations on the customers side can be unrealistic, relating to both time and outcomes.
I’m my own worst critic, I want things to look much better than they ever can, so I know when I left, I’ve taken the clean to best point I can and that I’m working with seals, silicone, grout and acrylics that have aged or failed.
It’s this which is hanging over my decision to move forward or step away, beacuse the results are always going to be subjective.
I had a customer of a customer, say they could clean the whole house in an hour, which yes they probably could, but that’s to their level, not mine.
I’m not someone that’s happy with leaving anything, I’m not comfortable with it, because guests to a property won’t know what the a clients asked for from a clean, they will just know they have a cleaner, and think I’ve missed things.
I can’t get my head around that bit, I’ve tried, and there’s both a genuine and irrational fear behind being judged, so I’ve got some decisions to make.
