Creative Cow, a touring theatre company forged in the farm yards of Devon in 2007 by founders Amanda Knott, Matthew Parish and Katherine Senior. Creative Cow tour the length and breadth of the country from the very large to the most intimate of spaces. ub in Exeter. From there the Cows left for the road, presenting productions of both Harold Pinter's The Lover and The Knack by Ann Jellicoe touring them around rural venues in the South West in 2008
2009-10 saw continuing success with tours of The Anniversary, Travels With My Aunt and The Dumb Show as well as a summer rep season at the New Theatre Exeter of The Famer's Wife along side Lam by Christopher William Hill and Two by Jim Cartwright. As their reputation grew the Cows toured further afield, presenting the 55th anniversary UK tour of John Osbourne's classic Look Back in Anger as well as an adaptation of Hard Times by Charles Dickens and lets not forget another summer season at the New Theatre with The Fair Maid of the West, 2011 was certainly busy. In 2012-13 the Cow s joined forces with the Yvonne-Arnaud Theatre Guildford to present national tours of both The Rivals, by Richard Brinsley Sheridan and Charley's Aunt by Brandon Thomas whilst also reviving classics such as Peter Nichols Born in the Gardens.
2014 saw the Cows go international when their production of She Stoops to Conquer whose many stop off points on tour now included The Republic of Ireland
2015 was a new venture for the company. For the festive season the Cows adapted the work of Charles Dickens once again but this time for the annual christmas show at the Exeter Northcott Theatre presenting A Christmas Carol to packed houses, playing to over 16,000 people over the 4 week residency.
2016 saw the company going back to doing what it does best. This time teaming up with Malvern Theatres with a UK tour of Travels with my Aunt.
2017 gets off to a great start with a tour of another Greene classic. Our Man In Havana will tour the UK April/May/June/July once again working with Malvern Theatres and this time also with Buxton Opera House. Visit the show website here www.ourmaninhavanatheplay.com
