Why do main dealers do it?! This VW Passat for bought brand new 4 months ago and it was sold to the customer with a “ceramic coating” applied. It hasn’t had a ceramic coating done it’s had some bulls**t spray to make it shiny! Just do the job properly or don’t offer it! So I spent today giving it a machine polish and a ceramic coating! Proper job! If you’re buying a car and offered a coating make sure it’s properly done. I see this too often. Feel free to contact me if you’re unsure and I can help advise you.
