Tigé 20V - Bangor

This one was brought to us and done in our workshop. The red had turned to a faded orange/pink and needed a multi-stage machine polish to bring it back to life. After polishing we locked the finish in with a ceramic sealant to get it through the season, we also completed a full interior valet including carpets shampooed and extracted & seats deep cleaned.

Doral Monticello. Kesh - Fermanagh

This boat was faded all over and the black had some very deep oxidation meaning we had to break out the sandpaper before any polishing to really cut the dead stuff away. After polishing and refining we prepped and primed surfaces to get them ready to lay down a layer of ceramic coating to keep it protected for years to come. Seats, covers carpets and non skid were deep cleaned and treated appropriately to ensure overall protection. Thanks to Jason That Detailing Guy - JW Detailing for helping get this one ready for launch in time.

“Westering Home” Bangor

This customer saw a job we completed recently on a boat close to his and asked could we freshen his Nauticat 321 up for the season ahead. I like to do more than just “freshen up” and although we weren’t striving for perfection with this one we were still able to achieve amazing results. After we polished the hull and transom we applied a 12 month ceramic sealant to lock in the finish and help protect it.

As you can see from the before and after pictures this boat hadn’t seen a bit of polish for years (if at all). The majority of the surfaces were showing a lot of oxidation/uv degradation and needed a professional touch to bring them back to life.

We carried out a multi-stage machine polish to get rid of a good layer of dead gelcoat and make sure the deeper oxidation was removed. As usual we used various machine polishers, polishes and pads in different shapes & sizes to make sure we got all round coverage. After all polishing work was complete we applied the best of marine ceramic coatings - Ceramic Pro Marine - the No.1 Marine ceramic coating on the market & warranted for 3 years when applied by one of their approved installers. After this we applied a top coat to add even more gloss and slickness to the hard base layer.

The metal/chrome was all polished using a dedicated metal polish and some perseverance to remove some rust stains and the chains were bathed in fallout remover to achieve the same results. The metal was also sealed to protect from future staining.

The tubes were abraded back to remove a layer of dirt and grime and ceramic coated with 2 layers to leave a longer lasting shine than any of the traditional methods.

The glass had a lot of chemical staining and watermarks which required machine polishing to remove and all windows were sealed with a rain repellant coating.

The underside of the hull was polished and coated with a thick layer of Ceramic Pro Marine to act as an anti-fouling barrier.

We also carried out an interior valet and coated all leather/vinyl in the appropriate coatings to help with maintenance.
