Quiz & Chip Evening

Tickets are now on sale for the Troon RNLI Fundraising Branch Quiz & Chip Evening.

The ever popular quiz night is being held on Friday 29 September 2023 at 7pm in the Railway Club, Shore Road, Troon.

Tickets are £12, which includes a fish supper, and are available from our RNLI Shop, Ayr Street, Troon.

♦️Important Covid-19 announcement ♦️

Due to the current pandemic I took the decision not to go out cleaning until I was satisfied I would not be putting myself or anyone else at any undue risk.

I am now pleased to announce I will be operating a booking system which will allow me to sanitise my equipment and contact customers prior to my arrival in order to maintain a safe distance at all times. I realise this is far from ideal but hopefully this will allow customers who wish their windows to be cleaned to have the opportunity to do so.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my customers for their patience through my recovery and this current situation.

Dear Customer,

Thank you all for your patience during my recovery. I am back at work however the back to back storms and relentless rains are keeping me off the ladders. I am working hard to get round to everyone and fingers crossed for a break in the weather soon. 🤞

Dear Customer,

I have to start this with an apology regarding my frequency of visits. As a result of injury and staffing issues I have had a difficult year which has impacted on my ability to provide the service I strive to deliver.

Unfortunately I have to take some time off due to the fact I need surgery followed by a recovery period. I will not be working from mid October until mid December (2 month minimum recovery). I can only apologise for this years’ disruption and will be working hard once recovered.

Become a RNLI fundraising volunteer

Troon RNLI Fundraising Group are looking for new volunteers to help fundraise for the charity that saves lives at sea and support Troon lifeboat station and its volunteer crewmembers.

As part of our local fundraising group in Troon you’ll get to meet new people and best of all have lots of fun.

Troon RNLI Fundraising Group Treasurer Urda Cotter said ‘We are looking for some keen new helpers to join the group and assist in our fundraising activities.’

‘With 95% of our total income coming from donations, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to help raise these essential funds.’

‘We are looking for anyone who can spare a few hours to help us at our fundraising events throughout the year’.
