Having a ceramic coating applied to your car delivers a range of benefits. If you've been following this page for a while, you'll probablyknow about the enhanced gloss and depth of colour that ceramic coating brings out of paintwork. There are so many more benefits to having a coating professionally applied. If you want to preserve the appearance and maintain as much residual value in your pride and joy as possible. Ceramic coating is absolutely the way to go.

Long-Lasting Protection
Ceramic coatings bond chemically with paint, not just sit on top like wax. A quality coat can last several years (often 2–5 + years), giving long-term defense against environmental wear and tear. Our Matrix Black is an 8 year coating

UV & Oxidation Resistance
UV rays can fade and oxidise paint over time. Ceramic coatings block much of this harmful light, helping to retain your RS3’s original colour and finish.

Protection From Contaminants
Bird droppings, tree sap, acid rain, road salt and other pollutants are less likely to damage paint since they don’t bond as strongly to a ceramic-coated surface and are easier to wash off.

6. Minor Scratch/Swirl Resistance
It’s not bullet-proof, but the coating adds surface hardness that helps resist light scratches and swirl marks from everyday washing and driving.

7. Boosts Resale Value
A well-maintained exterior helps your RS3 retain value. Buyers often see a well-protected paint job as a sign of overall care, which can justify a higher resale price.

Things to Note

Ceramic coating doesn’t prevent stone chips or dents. That’s what paint protection film (PPF) excels at.

The finish still needs regular maintenance to sustain benefits (wash properly, avoid harsh chemicals).

Professional application gives the best results and is usually accompanied by a warranty.

For a performance car like the Audi RS3, ceramic coating is a popular choice. It helps preserve the paint’s vibrant appearance, reduces cleaning time, and provides layered protection against daily driving hazards. It doesn’t replace PPF for high-impact areas, but it’s an excellent complement for overall paint care.

ome cars don’t need perfection — they need respect.

This Jaguar Mk II came to us with decades of history etched into every line. Our job wasn’t to modernise it or erase its past, but to carefully revive what was already there. Gentle washing, hand-finished chrome, and subtle paint refinement brought back depth and clarity without stripping away its character.

Inside, the focus was preservation over shine. Nourished leather, refreshed wood veneers, and attention to the smallest details ensured the cabin felt as refined as it was when it first left the factory.

Classic cars tell a story.
We just help them speak a little clearer.

A full valet on the new BMW M5 Touring — carried out with one goal in mind: maintaining the condition of the car properly, not rushing through it.

Modern performance cars use a wide mix of finishes inside and out, which means safe processes and the right products matter just as much as the end result. From the wash stage through to the interior, every area was cleaned using methods designed to avoid unnecessary wear, marring, or damage.

A valet like this isn’t about stripping everything back or masking problems. It’s about:

Cleaning safely

Preserving surfaces

Leaving the car in a condition that’s easy to maintain going forward

For daily-driven cars — even ones like this — regular, correctly carried-out valeting plays a big part in keeping paintwork, trim, and interiors looking good long-term.

At Boosters n Bubbles, our valet service is built around care, not speed, and is suitable for everything from everyday vehicles to high-performance cars that are used year-round.

BMW M3 Touring | Long-Term Ceramic Protection

This M3 Touring came to us as the owner was racking up the mileage. He wanted the following: protect the paintwork properly and make long-term ownership easier — not just make it look good for a weekend.

Before any ceramic coating was applied, the vehicle was carefully assessed and prepared. Preparation is critical, because ceramic coating isn’t a magic product — it’s a protective layer that performs only as well as the surface beneath it. The preparation is time intensive and involves a number of processes. All of them just as important as the next.

Once the paintwork was in the correct condition, our 8-year ceramic coating was applied. The coating now acts as a sacrificial layer, helping to protect the paint from UV exposure, chemical contamination, and everyday wear, while also making safe maintenance far easier going forward.

For cars like this, ceramic coating isn’t about gloss alone. It’s about slowing the ageing process of the paintwork, preserving the finish, and reducing the need for aggressive correction later in the vehicle’s life.

At Boosters n Bubbles, we focus on correct preparation, honest advice, and protection strategies designed around real-world use — whether that’s a daily-driven performance car or a long-term keeper.

This GT4 wasn’t about chasing shine — it was about protecting a car that’s built to be driven.

Before applying ceramic protection, the paintwork was carefully assessed and prepared to ensure the surface was in the best possible condition. Proper preparation matters, because protection only performs as well as what’s underneath it.

The ceramic coating now acts as a sacrificial layer, helping protect the paint from UV exposure, contamination, and everyday wear — while making maintenance significantly easier going forward.

Cars like this deserve processes that respect both performance and longevity. No shortcuts. No rushed work. Just correct preparation and protection designed to last.

FAQ – Boosters n Bubbles

“We get asked these a lot…”

Q: Do I need ceramic coating?
A: Not every car does. Ceramic coating is best for owners who want long-term protection and easier maintenance. The condition of the paintwork matters more than the product itself.

Q: Can you ceramic coat my car without polishing it first?
A: No — and there’s a reason for that. Applying protection over defects locks them in. Proper preparation is essential for results that last.

Q: Why is machine polishing so expensive?
A: Paint correction isn’t just polishing — it’s careful defect removal, surface refinement, and preparation. It’s time-intensive because it’s correcting damage, not hiding it.

Q: How long do your services take?
A: As long as they need to. We don’t rush vehicles through. Time spent on preparation directly affects the quality and longevity of the result.

Q: Are you more expensive than other detailers?
A: Sometimes — Our pricing reflects the time, processes, and care required to protect a vehicle properly, not just make it look good temporarily.

Q: What type of cars do you work on?
A: Daily drivers, classics, enthusiasts, and luxury vehicles. The common factor isn’t the car — it’s owners who care how their vehicles age.

If you’re unsure what your car needs, that’s completely normal.
We’re always happy to assess your vehicle and recommend the right approach — not the most expensive one.

Our valets hit different. Did you know we spend up to 5 hours on every car? That’s a huge amount of time to pour over the finer details for you. It’s not just a quick vacuum and an outside wash. We steam, dust, polish, clean and otherwise attend to every nook and cranny;
Door shuts, fuel filler area, wheel arches, air vents - that annoying little gap between the front seats and the centre console (how does so much spare change end up down there?!)

It’s also worth noting that the outside part of the valet has been perfected over time. We use chemicals that are tough enough to loosen road grime, dead bugs and other contaminants. Gentle enough that your paintwork and trim won't become tarnished or dull as a result. Every wash gets fresh water and shampoo. Drying towels are only used on one car before being laundered ready for next time. Absolutely minimising the likelihood of scratch damage carrying over from car to car.

The MX5 pictured, is a great example of the details that, at first glance, might not be instantly apparent. We’ve scrubbed all the areas where green grime has managed to build up over time. See how clean and shiny the boot shut is after a thorough going over. Marvel at the fuel filler looking shinier than a shiny thing on a particularly shiny day.

Whether you’re selling your car or just want to enjoy driving a clean version of your daily driver, get in touch. A clean car is a happy car.

There is no denying the huge appeal of the Range Rover Sport, even despite the complicated reputation it drags along with it. Reliability issues continue to be a thorn in the side of the luxury brand. The prolific number of these things still being stolen should put potential new owners off, but the opposite is true. The truth is, there is little in the way of direct competition in this market segment and Range Rover are fully aware of that. Personally, I think they are great cars. The apparent simplicity of the design adds to, rather than, detracts from the distinctive design. This particular example boats this gorgeous raspberry external colour, complimented by the stark white interior. A joy to welcome to the unit for a valet recently.
