It's nearly three months since I had the Whipple operation to remove a pancreatic cancer, and I haven't yet posted on my own page.

I want to thank everyone, family, friends, and work colleagues, for all the love, prayers, and support I've received since I started on this road. Your best wishes and encouragement have been an invaluable source of strength to me and my wife 'and rock', Marie. For that I'm truly grateful!

I'm still recovering from the surgery but things are progressing well. On Monday I start 12 rounds of chemotherapy, (Folifirinox for those with a medical interest) which will be administered over the next six months. So, there's still a long way to go, but with your continued amazing words of encouragement and support I'm confident that -together - we'll beat this ugly disease.

Toyota Corolla came in for a full valet. Exterior was heavily soiled with road film, grease, tar, chalk, and other minerals and oxides from road gritting.
Interior wasn't too shabby. Lower than expected levels of debris, detritus, and some dog hair for a car that hasn't been valeted since summer. Side door storage was very sticky due to a packet of boiled sweets that had melted over previous months. This was sorted with a sterilising steam clean.

Saturday saw the return of the little red Berlingo which was decontaminated and polished a few weeks ago. No polish required today, so straight onto a maintenance wash and a double layer of sealant, plus Sonax Extreme Detailer.

Additional services for this job was a trim restoral and a 6-month hydrophobic glass coating applied to all glass and headlights. Windscreen, windows, and headlights were cleaned, clay bar cleansed, and compounded prior to ceramic application.

Ceramic coating your windscreen and correcting your headlights are essential steps to ensuring maximum visibility in heavy rain. Glass coatings are extremely hydrophobic, meaning rainwater cannot adhere to your windscreen as the airflow pushes rain from the screen on contact. This hydrophobic effect translates to a lesser requirement for wiper use at speeds of 40mph and above.

Different type of job today. Faded, oxidised headlights on a 20-year-old motor requiring headlight glass restoration. First photo is of the offside light in its damaged condition, and the nearside is after its second stage of a four part restoral process.
Second photo is the nearside light before. Below that are the lights after refurb, and the other image is a close-up of the offside unit after restoration. Refurbished headlights will stay like new until the end of the vehicle's life, owing to the extremely durable, longlife, protective UV ceramic coating we apply to each headlight unit.

That's why every headlight restoration we perform automatically comes with a free 4-year guarantee. We're so confident in our coatings that if it fails we promise to repeat the whole restoration free of charge.

Save between £300 - £800 replacing your headlight units, and get them quickly restored (1 to 2 hours max) instead! £50.00 per pair (two) of headlights.
Services outside of Stone carry an additional, minimum £10.00 travelling fee.
