💖✨ Back at work and lots happening behind the scenes! 🧹🏡

I'm still recovering from my surgery, so taking things a little steadier than usual, but it's lovely to be back doing what I love! 🥰

Here's a little sneak peek at a property redecoration my team have been working on — and they've absolutely smashed it! 🎨🔨✨

The video also includes a few snippets from some of my other lovely clients' homes and recent cleans. 🧹💖

I've always planned to venture into property maintenance, just perhaps not quite this soon! 😂

One thing the last few weeks have shown me is how lucky I am to have such a fantastic team behind me. They stepped up while I was in hospital, kept things moving and made sure my clients were looked after.

I couldn't be more grateful or proud of them! 🥰

💖 A little recovery update… 💖

I'm pleased to say I'm healing really nicely after my unexpected surgery last weekend! 🥰

I'm still taking things a little easier than normal and trying very hard to actually listen to my body for once 😂, but everything seems to be heading in the right direction and my stitches are due to come out next week. 🙌

I'm gradually working out my return to normal and will continue contacting my existing clients individually regarding their cleans while I recover. I'm still not taking on anything new just yet — I want to make sure I'm properly healed before throwing myself back into everything at full speed! 🧹✨

Thank you again for all the lovely messages, patience and understanding over the last week. Having such wonderful clients has made a very unexpected situation so much easier. 💖

Hopefully it won't be long until I'm back to full Ellen mode! 😂🧹

💖 A little update from me…
Yesterday's surgery was successful, thankfully, but I'm going to be sensible (for once 😂) and take the next few days to rest and recover properly.
I'm currently arranging some cover and extra assistance to help keep things running while I recover. I'll contact all of my existing clients individually if there are going to be any changes to your usual clean or arrangements, so please don't worry if you haven't heard from me yet. 🧹💖

For the moment, I won't be taking on any new cleans or clients. I need to make sure I'm fully healed before I start adding anything else to the diary — apparently emergency surgery is my body's way of telling me to slow down! 🙈

Thank you SO much for all the lovely messages, well wishes and understanding I've received. It's genuinely meant a lot, especially when everything happened so suddenly. 🥰

Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back doing what I love — just perhaps at a slightly more sensible pace to begin with! 😂💖

🧼✨ It's the bits you don't normally see…

At first glance, this sink really didn't look bad at all. A quick wipe over and most people would probably call it done.
But lift the plug out… and there's a completely different story hiding underneath. 👀😂

A little extra time, the plug taken apart, everything properly cleaned underneath and around the fitting, then put back together and polished up.

No one would have known it was there once the plug was back in… but I would. 😂

And that's exactly why I love the little details. 💖

✨ Apparently we're branching out into gardening now… 😂🌿

After a full day looking after my lovely regular clients, I had a little last-minute SOS from one of my existing clients this evening.

I've already been helping get their home ready to sell with their general cleans and a good deep clean ready for the estate agents, but tonight they needed an extra pair of hands getting the front garden/drive looking a bit tidier too.

Now, I would like to make it VERY clear… I am absolutely not a gardener 😂😂 but sleeves were rolled up, weeds were tackled, everything was swept down and we got it looking much smarter ready for viewings! 🧹🌿

Sometimes it's not just about cleaning — it's about helping my clients with whatever is making life that little bit more stressful. 💖

And after a full day's cleaning already, I think I've definitely earned putting my feet up tonight! 😂

💖✨ Another lovely new regular! ✨💖

Absolutely loved getting stuck into this beautiful home today for my new regular client. 🧹🏡

The shower screen had some water marking to tackle, the black frames and all those little details got some much-needed attention, and everything was left fresh, clean and sparkling. ✨

And can we just appreciate that living/dining space?! 😍

This client has never had a cleaner before, so it means even more that they've chosen to put their trust in me and Ellen Read Property Services to look after their home. 🥰💖

There's something so satisfying about that first clean and getting to know a new home — figuring out the little areas that need extra attention and how I can make a real difference each visit.

💖 Well… that filled up quickly! 🥹

I only properly opened my diary again after the summer holidays and I'm already pretty much consistently booked up! 🧹✨

A huge thank you to everyone who has recommended me, shared my posts, put their trust in me and especially those who patiently waited for the summer holidays to finish so I could fit you in. It genuinely means so much. 🥰

When I started Ellen Read Property Services, I really didn't know how quickly my little business would grow. To already be at the point where I'm looking at what comes next and how I can expand is something I'm incredibly proud of. 💖

I'm looking forward to this next chapter — continuing to look after my wonderful regulars, welcoming my new clients and seeing where this little business takes me next! 🏡✨

After enjoying some lovely time with the kids over the summer, I'm officially back in business and getting stuck in again! 🧹💖

First clean for a lovely new regular client today, and I couldn't resist sharing this gorgeous room. 😍

A freestanding bath in the bedroom, beautiful feature wallpaper and so much character — definitely not your average bedroom! 🛁✨

One of my favourite things about this job is seeing all the different homes and styles… and getting them lovely and fresh along the way.

I've had such a wonderful summer spending some proper time with my kids, and I'm so glad I made the decision to slow things down for a few weeks. 💖
