Hi everyone, hope you’re all ok. Apologies I’ve been awol on my social media for quite a while, I’ve been trying really hard to work on my strength. I just wanted to come on and let you know it’s more than likely it will be after Christmas by the time I’m back working 😩 I’ve got osteopenia in both my knees, which is having a huge effect on my back. I’ve seen a physio, who has said my back is just in a constant spasm which is causing scoliosis. I’ve got to rest and keep moving, but nothing that will aggravate my back. I am sorry as I thought I would have been back by now, but all the after effects from chemo and surgery are creeping up on me. Once again, if you need to get a new cleaner I totally understand, but for those of you who are waiting for my return I really appreciate you. Please let me know if you need to cancel or wanting to stay on when I do return 💛 can’t wait to see you all. Vic xx

Good morning everyone 💛
It’s been a while since I posted or kept you all updated. I’ve had two cycles of chemotherapy so far, my third cycle 🤞🏻 will be next week. Having a lot of problems with my blood, my platelets and Hb are just so low. Having injections to try and boost my cells. Chemo is also making me have some awful side effects. Palpitations and headaches being the worst.
But….had a CT scan 3 weeks ago, results came back and I’m still in the all clear 🥳 4 more cycles to go, then lots of rest, and I’m hoping to be back September. I need to fully rest and recharge before coming back to work. Hopefully sneak a holiday in ☀️ spend some well deserved time with my boys.

Well it’s not how I wanted 2024 to end 🤦🏼‍♀️
I should have finished making all your homes sparkling by now.
But I wanted to thank you all, for your chistmas gifts 🥹 cards and texts.
You’ve all been absolutely amazing whilst I’ve been off.
I know I still won’t be back for a while, but when I do, I’ll be raring to go (hopefully 🤣)

Good morning everyone 💛
Just a little update for you all. I was hoping to be back working by Monday 7th October, however, this will no longer be the case. I’ve been given another sick note for a week.
As much as I’m feeling a lot better in myself, I’m still struggling with shortness of breath, cramping and trapped wind in my shoulders and neck. This is common after surgery, and I just need to keep resting. I’ve managed to drive this week, do the school run, and an Asda shop (with someone with me) but I’m finding myself out of breath and tired after doing something quiet little (for me).
I hope you all can appreciate if I rush back to work I may do more damage, so I’d rather just get as much rest as possible and come back to work with no issues and fighting fit 💛

Just a quick update for everyone 💛
I’ve had my stitches out, and I feel so much better for it. I ended up at the urgent care centre on Saturday night, as I wasn’t discharged with any pain medication. So took the usual paracetamol & ibuprofen, but they just wasn’t cutting it. The UCC prescribed me with some tramadol, and wow 🤯 they didn’t suit me at all. Dizziness, sickness, loss of appetite, hot sweats, but I just put it down to the pain. Tuesday I stopped them myself, and spoke to my GP who prescribed me with some naproxen, hit the pain in 30 mins and was starting to feel a tiny bit better. I was Still struggling to walk, I was hunched over, trying to hold my swollen tummy up so it didn’t feel heavy. After having my stitches out today I feel so relieved. I can walk better, stand up straight 🤗 I still feel bruised and I’m aching head to toe from the last few days, but hopefully in the next 24 hours I see a bigger improvement. I still haven’t drove, nor do I intend to do so as of yet. Maybe next week. I’ve got another week off to fully recover 🤞🏻 and hopefully be back doing what I love w/c 7th October.
I can’t thank everyone who has been running around after me enough, Craig, my Mum, Sammi, school parents you’ve all been super amazing and incredibly supportive the last week. And also to my wonderful clients who are always texting and ringing me to see how I’m doing 🩷 I love you all 🫶🏻

Evening everyone.
I thought I’d give you all my first update after my operation today.
The op went well 🥳 my cyst & endometriosis has been removed. I’ve been referred to the colposcopy unit so I can have more regular check ups.
I’m home, in my pjs and currently all cosy on the settee.
I’ve got to have an injection every night for 7 days to prevent any blood clots.
I’m really struggling to walk, movements are currently very limited. And I’ve got to be on top of my pain medication.
Craig and the boys have been looking after me since I got home ☺️

Will keep you all updated in the next few days.
Thank you to everyone for your messages and well wishes, it truly means a lot to me.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, and if you can have a drink for me 🥂 that would be great 🤣

Sammi has been a huge help for me today, making sure I can clean all your homes before I have to take some time off.

Finally, the week is over 🥳 I’m more than ready for my holiday tomorrow (I think 🤔) packing for a caravan holiday is more stressful than I thought 🤣 will it it rain, will it be sunny, what if it snows 🤣🤣
This week has been a strange one, can’t explain it, but I’ve had every emotion, my body has just felt totally off, so a week to recharge and make memories with my boys is defo what I need.
