💧 Why we clean your windows with just water (and why it’s smarter than it sounds)
1. Streak-free, spot-free results
Tap water contains minerals and dissolved solids (think calcium, magnesium) which can leave little marks or cloudy spots when they dry. When water is purified (also called “de-ionised” or “TDS 0” = nearly zero parts-per-million of dissolved solids) then when it dries, it leaves noth
ing behind - just clean clear glass.
2. Cleaner for longer
Because there’s no film, residue or leftover detergent or mineral trace on the glass, windows cleaned with pure water don’t attract dirt in the same way. That means fewer spots, less frequent cleanings, and a view you’re likelier to be pleased with.
3. Safer & better access
Using a water-fed pole means we can clean high windows, frames, sills and doors from the ground (or from safe access) instead of balancing ladders at awkward angles. This is not just better for our team’s backs — it’s better for your property’s safety too.
4. Environment-friendly & gentle
Because we don’t rely on heavy chemicals or soaps, there’s less risk of residue affecting your frames, sills, doors or the surrounding brickwork. It’s kinder to the surfaces and to the environment. But pure water. And professional equipment. Every time, we clean your sills, frames, doors and your glass — because in our experience, shiny glass looks a lot better when the frame isn’t two shades of green either. If your windows (or fascia/soffits/gutters) are due a refresh, give us a call on 07970 031592 or send a message. Let’s make your view sparkle.
