Another one shorn.
Davas (Cornish for sheep) mixed grey fleece.
Light over the middle, dark grey on the shoulders.
lovely soft fleece with a good staple length.
Planned to shear another this evening but we're having thundery showers now.
wet wool moulds and rots so unless it shines again and dries the sheep's fleeces no more shearing today.

Pleased to say this morning went to plan.
Sheep where they should be, (plonker remembered to switch the fencer back on last night).
Caught Edhen (pronounced Ethen).
Cornish for bird.
Promptly shorn with no complications.
A beautiful light grey fleece.
All Garker Fields livestock fed, watered and moved before 7.30.
Now in for coffee 2 and breakfast.

Hoverflies, bee, sleepy snail, some weeds and a tiny shroom.
