Uppingham Stone Bespoke limestone fireplaces handcrafted in Rutland. HETAS registered wood burning stove fitter. Uppingham Stone is a family business based in Rutland.

We specialise in making bespoke, unique, limestone fireplaces using locally-quarried stone. We are also Hetas-registered log burner fitters. We are also suppliers of a range of stoves including Saltfire, Stovax, and Burley. You can see fireplaces and stoves on display at our showroom in Manton which is open during the week and at the weekend by appointment. Phone or email us for more info.

We are hiring!

We are looking to recruit into our small but busy team here at Uppingham Stoves. Working closely with the team carrying out stove installations, stove maintenance, testing, certifying and chimney sweeping.
The ideal candidate would preferably have experience within the construction industry. However, this is not essential. Positive, quick learning and motivated individual who is keen to develop their own skills on the job.
Must Drive
39 hours per week
Monday – Friday
Starting rate £13.50 per hour

A before and after of a bespoke, handcrafted Fireplace in aged Bath stone. This is based on our Sandringham Design with a Burley Ashdown, 8kW wood burning stove.

Also we installed a Stovax Stockton 11kW wood Burning stove to an existing fire place.

📷We knocked out this customer's old tiled fire surround and installed a new concrete lintel. Our hand crafted Sandringham design in Ancaster hard white limestone was fitted along with a new flexible metal chimney liner and a Stovax County 8 wood burning stove. 👍
