I use the word assistance in the loosest way! 🤣
I think he believed he was quality control! 🫣 however, he ended up getting much too excited with the threads & had to be shooed away! 🫣

Recently I was approached by a local Firefighter, who wasn’t sure if I offered my services to people outside of Guiding/Scouts, so I soon reassured him that I could! 🙂 🪡

He had two badges from Hiking Expeditions that he’d done, raising money for the Firefighters Charity 💷, a very worthy cause 💕 that he wanted attaching to some tshirts.

I won’t lie, this protect was probably one of the most technically challenging that I’ve done! as the tshirt material was rather tricky to work with & the badges were very stiff! 🫣 but I got there in the end! ✅

How does it work?

1) Send me a message with the details of what needs to be sewn,

2) Bring the item and badge/s to me (or I might be able to collect)

3) I sew the badges onto the garment, following guidelines by your organisation,

4) We arrange a mutually convenient time for you to collect the garment & pay,

5) You’re good to go! Enjoy your updated uniform!

Hi 👋🏻
My name’s Rachel, I’m a Girlguiding Leader in Long Lawford, Rugby.
(In Girlguiding, the leaders have animal names, so mine is Squirrel - hence the name! 🐿️)

I’m offering a badge sewing service to parents of children in clubs locally - I appreciate that it can be difficult for some people if maybe you don’t know how to sew, or aren’t very confident with it, but I quite enjoy it!

I’m doing this to help families locally, plus financially I’ll be giving back to the units that your children attend, with a percentage of my fees offered as a donation to support the volunteers.

I can help with sewing badges to uniform or sashes/neckers, for:
Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and many more!

I’d be really grateful if you could tell your friends who have children in any of these groups, so that I can help as many families as possible! 🙂
