Would just like to thank every single person that took tags from our Christmas tree. We helped a total of 44 people get a gift this Christmas and I’m overwhelmed with everyone’s generosity.
We hope everyone had a lovely Christmas 💖

Hi everyone, we are looking for a way to help people this Christmas and the dunelm Christmas tree has inspired us at the laundrette.
So the idea is for people who are in need to get in touch and write on a Christmas tag that would then be put on our Christmas tree at the laundrette.
Then anyone in a position to is welcome to get a tag from the Christmas tree and purchase what is on there, bring it back to the shop where it will then be given to the person who the tag belongs to.
An example would be…….
A 5 year old would like chocolate, board games, toys.
A teenage girl would like make up, toiletries etc
A 70 year old would like toiletries, slippers, etc

This would all be private, nobody would know who has written on the tags and wouldn’t know names of who they were buying for.

Would love some feedback on this so if people could message the page to let me know if they would either be in need and write a tag or if they would take a tag to help someone in need.
If it’s something people would do then we will be setting it up towards the end of this week to give people a few weeks to purchase things.

The laundrette will be closed today due to essential work getting done, we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If all goes to plan we will be back open tomorrow as usual ☺️
