I was back in the sewing room today after a lovely, long weekend.

Thankyou to Claire's Sparkling Touches for the opportunity to trade at Hemlington on Saturday and to all the lovely people and adorable dogs that I met. If you purchased or just stopped for a chat, thankyou.
Saturday night we took ourselves to Marske for beers and pizza with Helen at and the team at so we didn't have to do a food shop, cook or clean 🤣
Sunday we spent the day at Saltburn's annual Food Festival eating, drinking and catching up with the guys from , Josh from , Jaz and Chris and everyone in Brass Monkey.

But like all good things, time for rest and relaxation is over and its back to the sewing machine getting ready for two events at the weekend.

New product alert !

Do you have a ball mad pooch and a hand constantly covered in saliva, sand and mud on walks ?

Two friends walking found themselves in this situation and after a chat, came to me with the idea of a carry cloth for walks. Prototype made and tested this week with the help of Eric.

Its a small, lightweight towelling cloth which can be hung from your belt loop or bag. It can be used to wipe your hands, your dog's face and carry a ball home.

What do you think - would you use it ?

Its pirate and mermaid day in Locke Park this Sunday, 26th July, 11am-5pm.

All the usual fun and games on offer from the cafe team.

We won't be there but if you need any pirate or mermaid themed bandanas, bows or bags prior to the event, let me know. Order book closes Thursday night and deliveries or collection Friday.
We will be at Hemlington family fun day on Saturday for collection too.
