We’re feeling pretty happy this week, the sun has finally made a long awaited appearance!

After what has felt like a long winter, things have definitely started to pick up again over Easter, and it’s giving us a little taste of the busy summer season ahead…and we’re here for it!
As you may have seen on our stories, our maintenance team have been busy this week expanding our laundry space, as well as working on renovations at two properties that will be joining the holiday let market in May.
Winter might be the quieter season for guests, but behind the scenes it’s been a busy and productive few months for us.
In the office we’ve been refining our processes and procedures, as well as doing some refresher training with the team, making sure everything is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible ahead of what will hopefully be another busy season.
We’re looking forward to seeing Cornwall come to life again over the next few months!

New property!

We’re excited to be working with Culdrose Manor, a beautiful property that sleeps up to 10 guests, now trusting us with their changeovers and linen.

Not a bad place to spend our time on changeover days getting everything ready for the next arrivals 🥰

Ever wondered what goes into our cleaning kit?

We make thoughtful choices for the environment whenever we can. Our main day to day products are Odorbac, a powerful, non-toxic commercial grade multi-purpose cleaner and odour eliminator. Our Odorbac bottles are refillable, and the 5L containers with the concentrated product are returned to be re-used or recycled. Even any broken spray bottles can also be returned to be re-made into new bottles!

We also use refillable washing up liquid and hand soap dispensers in many of the properties that we look after, helping to cut down on single use plastic.

It’s not always possible to eliminate waste completely in this industry, but we do our best to make small changes where we can!

There’s something so satisfying about a good before and after, especially when the end result is this clean 🙌

Our oven cleans make such a difference in bringing back ovens to looking fresh, clean, and ready to use again.

We hope everyone is doing okay after Storm Goretti 💙 We’ve come out the other side and are very grateful to have escaped relatively unscathed, with only a small amount of leakage.
That said, we did return today to find the temporary traffic lights have made a comeback! Despite the chaos through Penryn, we along with so many other brilliant local businesses are very much still open.
Please continue to shop local if you can, it really does make such a difference. And if battling the traffic isn’t appealing right now, don’t forget we offer delivery and collection on all of our laundry services, so you can still use us without the stress.

Reflecting on our 2025!
As the year comes to a close, we’ve been taking a moment to reflect on what has been a great year for our family business.
2025 has seen some big growth for us, especially in our laundry and linen hire services, which have grown beyond what we ever imagined.
We also built and rolled out a brand-new training system for our amazing team, helping us keep standards high while supporting everyone to feel confident and valued in their roles.
We’ve changed over lots of properties, welcomed new owners on board, purchased a new hybrid van, and on a personal note, we also welcomed a new family member, making this year extra special (and a little more sleep-deprived 😂).
That said, it hasn’t been without its worries. Like many in Cornwall, we’ve felt the uncertainty around the hospitality industry, particularly holiday lets, alongside wider economic pressures. These challenges have pushed us to adapt, tighten systems, invest in training, and focus even more on quality, efficiency and strong relationships with our owners and team.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us this year; our staff, our clients, contractors, and our families.
Looking ahead, we’re feeling excited and optimistic for 2026! We’ve got some new and exciting things in the pipeline, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.
Here’s to growth, resilience, and what’s to come!

Merry Christmas 🎄. What a year it’s been; huge expansions in our laundry, new systems and great partnerships with old & new customers. We’re so thankful for everyone who has been part of our journey in 2025. All of our properties are now fully guest-ready, and we’re heading into the new year feeling proud, grateful, and excited for what’s ahead. A Difficult Post for Us to Share

We’ve gone back and forth about whether to post this, but sadly we feel we need to.
Recently, several bags of our hire linen have gone missing from an apartment block where we manage multiple properties. At first, we hoped it was an honest mistake, we know how hectic summer changeovers can be, and thought perhaps someone had picked them up accidentally thinking they were theirs. Unfortunately, this has now happened more than once, and it no longer seems like a simple mix-up.
Our linen is high-quality, costly stock, and we’ve lost hundreds of pounds worth. As a family run business, that kind of loss hits hard. It doesn’t just affect us, but also our amazing team who work so hard to keep everything running smoothly. The missing stock has added significant extra pressure at the busiest time of year, and we’re so grateful to our laundry team for pulling through under difficult circumstances.

We’ve since put new measures in place to prevent this happening again, but it’s heartbreaking that this has happened here in our hometown which we considered a safe and supportive space for local businesses. We have no idea who has taken the linen, or why, but if you do have it, we ask you to please return it, or simply leave it where it was collected. We won’t ask questions. We just want our stock back, because we’ve worked incredibly hard to build this business and every bit of it matters.

We also wanted to make other local companies aware so that they don’t face the same losses as us, it’s not something we’d wish on anyone else working so hard in this industry.

Thank you to everyone who supports us, it means more than ever right now. 💙
