🍂 HELLO OCTOBER! 🍂

I honestly didn’t think September was ever going to end! 😂 What an incredibly busy month it has been for us at LTC Cleaning.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our customers for continuing to keep us so busy — we really do appreciate every booking, contract and recommendation. 💙

📩 All September invoices have now been sent out today.
Tomorrow, unfortunately, I’ll be doing one of my least favourite parts of running a business… chasing outstanding invoices! 😩

If you receive a reminder for an invoice that has been outstanding for the last 3 months, please be aware that applicable late-payment charges will be added.

Running a business has plenty of highs, but chasing money for work that has already been completed is definitely one of the lows!

For now, it’s goodbye summer ☀️ and hello autumn 🍂.

IRONMAN WALES 2026… I FINALLY LEARNT MY LESSON! 😂

One of the best decisions I made two years ago was accepting that holiday-let changeovers and Ironman Sunday DO NOT MIX! 🤦‍♀️

After years of battling road closures, trying every possible route into Tenby, jumping on buses and even walking miles carrying bags of bedding like some sort of confused packhorse 😂… I finally realised I was actually spending MORE on wages trying to complete the cleans!

So I admitted defeat.

Ironman 1 – Lucy 0. 😂

Fast forward to this year and instead of fighting the traffic with bedding over my shoulder, a few of us decided to volunteer at Ironman Wales, raising money for Forever 11, a charity very close to my heart and one I’m proud to be a trustee of. 💙

Our day started at 7am at the Angle feeding station, before heading into Tenby to help in the finishers’ tent.

And what a day it was! 🙌

The atmosphere was absolutely incredible, the athletes were unbelievable and the vibes were brilliant from start to finish.

Although judging by this video, I’m not entirely sure how much “helping” was actually going on… 😂😂😂

This video is PURE GOLD and there was absolutely no way I wasn't sharing it!

Safe to say, volunteering is definitely more fun than carrying bedding through Tenby on foot. 😂

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in Ironman Wales 2026 — and a massive well done to all the volunteers who help make such an incredible event possible. ❤️

Same again next year… just keep me away from the bedding! 😂🙌

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ IRONMAN WALES 2026 – WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN? 💙

Wow… what an incredibly busy few days for LTC Cleaning Ltd!
From Friday through to Tuesday, our team completed an amazing 170 cleans across holiday properties and caravans of all shapes and sizes — and we’re still going, with some IRONMAN guests extending their stays!

And I have to say, the cleans were a tough one this year! Some of the properties really tested us, and the team had to work incredibly hard to get everything turned around and ready for the next guests. But they pulled together, got stuck in and did an absolutely fantastic job. 💪💙

All of this was completed on top of our regular workload, including our contracts at the LNG site, two doctors’ surgeries, two chemists, a National Trust centre and our regular domestic cleans.

To say we have pushed ourselves to the limit would be an understatement.

A HUGE thank you to every single member of the LTC Cleaning team. You were incredible. The long days, teamwork, flexibility and determination to get the job done have not gone unnoticed. I genuinely couldn’t have done this weekend without you all.

Did everything go perfectly? No — and I’m happy to admit that.

Out of 170 cleans, we had two properties that were late getting in.
Both issues were dealt with and rectified within the hour.

Running a business means there will occasionally be things outside of your control. This weekend reminded me that I’m only human. What matters is how quickly we respond, communicate and put things right.

Considering the sheer volume of work and just how tough some of this year’s cleans were, I couldn’t be prouder of what this team achieved.

Iron man weekend!!

We understand that a lot of competitors are arriving today!

As you can imagine our team is flat out today so to help our day run smoothly please remind your guests on their check in times.

We have check ins from 1pm till 5pm and we clean in order to our agreed times.

If guests are in property, my team will not go in! The same goes if they have unpacked their belongings.

However I do not mind if any athletes need to pop their meals/drinks in the fridge early as long as the owners let me know so my team don't throw it out.

This is one of our busiest days of the year, if anyone knows if their guests have left before 10am please let me know.

💙 Giving Back to Our Community 💙
Today, the LTC Cleaning team did something a little different — and something we were incredibly pleased to be able to do.

We donated a completely FREE clean to Bethel Chapel in Pembroke Dock, with a small team of four spending a combined 16 hours giving the church a thorough clean. 🧹✨

As a business, we regularly support local sports teams, charities and community organisations, but I wanted to do something to give back to the community I grew up in.

Bethel Chapel offers so much more than Sunday services. They support the local community through their food bank and their restaurant, which opens every Wednesday serving roast dinners — and I've been reliably informed they're very tasty! 😋🍽️

I also had the pleasure of meeting Michael and Mary, the pastors of the church, today. We had a lovely chat about the church, the upcoming events they have planned and some exciting building work that will be taking place very soon.

We even received an invitation to their Christmas Carol Service — after today's cleaning, I think the LTC team might have to take them up on that one! 🎄⛪❤️

For me, running a local business isn't only about the work we do. It's also about being in a position to give something back to the people and organisations that make our community what it is.

A huge thank you to my team who gave their time and worked incredibly hard today. 💙
