A glimpse of something rather special.

This 1962 Aston Martin DB4 Series IV crossed the Atlantic to appear at the New York International Auto Show early in its life. Now back in the UK, and presented in the car’s original shade of Rose Beige, its remarkable story will soon continue at Pendine.

More to follow.

The 1980 British Motor Show car and 1 of 75 right-hand drive examples.

This 924 Carrera GT is a rare, UK-market, right-hand drive car first registered in October 1980. Finished in Diamond Silver Metallic with a black and red pinstripe velour and leatherette upholstery – a rarely seen but attractive combination.

Produced in very limited numbers to homologate the 924 Carrera GTR, which finished as high as sixth overall at Le Mans in 1980, the 924 Carrera GT is a significant upgrade over a 924 Turbo. The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-litre engine boasts around 210bhp, while weighing 150kg less than the 924 Turbo, resulting in a top speed close to 150mph. Vented front and rear disc brakes and an uprated suspension set-up, along with a near 50:50 weight distribution, make the 924 Carrera GT stand out from any other road-going 924.

The car boasts an exceptional history file containing original press releases, technical literature, internal chassis enquiry records, proof of its motorsports career and so much more, detailing the car’s full story. Probably the most significant of the UK-market 924 Carrera GT’s in existence.

Last year, at Pebble Beach, this was simply the beginning of a conversation.

A conversation about defining the right car, how to find it, and what the journey to ownership might look like.

Twelve months later, we're delighted to return to Pebble Beach alongside our client as first-time entrants with this exceptional 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental by Freestone & Webb.

From helping define the brief and sourcing the car, to overseeing the work required to prepare it for the lawn, this is exactly the kind of long-term relationship that Curated by Pendine was created to support.

James and Tiggy are looking forward to accompanying the family as they present this remarkable Rolls-Royce at the 75th Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

We're proud to have played a part in what promises to be a very special occasion.

FOR SALE: 2010 Aston Martin DBS – 6-Speed Manual

Naturally aspirated V12. Six-speed manual gearbox. One of the most celebrated British grand tourers of the modern era.

The DBS brings these elements together better than almost anything else from its period, and in manual form it becomes something genuinely special.

Production numbers tell their own story. Across the entire UK market, only 28 right-hand drive DBS coupés left the factory with both the six-speed manual transmission and 2+2 seating, placing this amongst the scarcest iterations of Aston Martin's flagship model.

Under the bonnet sits a 510bhp 6.0-litre V12, delivering effortless performance wrapped in a wider, more muscular body than the DB9 it was derived from. Carbon ceramic brakes, a finely tuned chassis and a cabin that balances luxury with driver focus complete the picture. It is no coincidence that the DBS was chosen to represent Aston Martin across two James Bond productions.

This particular car, registered in 2010, wears Storm Black over an Obsidian Black semi-aniline leather cabin. Storm Black is a shade worth seeking out, appearing as a deep, near-black in overcast conditions before revealing a striking red metallic flake in direct light. Equipment includes the 1,000-watt Bang & Olufsen BeoSound system with Apple CarPlay, carbon fibre fascia trim, Magnum Silver front meshes, silver seatbelts and polished alloy tread plates. The bodywork is protected throughout by a full paint protection film, and the car is supported by 14 service stamps from Aston Martin franchised dealers and respected marque specialists.

We are always looking to acquire comparable modern Aston Martins and other collector-grade performance cars. If you are considering a sale, we would be very pleased to hear from you.

The Jaguar XJR-15 has rightly been enjoying plenty of attention recently, not least following Jodie Kidd's recent film behind the wheel.

For many, it's still one of the most fascinating cars Jaguar has ever created. Born directly from the Le Mans-winning XJR-9 programme, it blurred the line between racing car and road car in a way few others have before or since.

If you'd like to discover more about the story behind the XJR-15, including how it compares with the XJ220, we'd highly recommend the excellent feature by Classic & Sports Car, created earlier this year using Pendine's race-winning chassis 048.

The car remains available through Pendine.

Best in Show at the RAC Concours!

Following the success of last year’s inaugural Royal Automobile Club Concours, yesterday saw its welcome return to Woodcote Park. Curated by Pendine was delighted to present two client cars on the concours lawn.

The Woodcote Trophy celebrates two-seater sports and sports-racing cars built before 1956 – and owners with a competitive spirit. The Jaguar C-Type XKC-044 certainly qualified, with exceptional period competition history and an owner who continues to enjoy the car as intended, most recently shipping it to the USA to compete in last summer’s Colorado Grand.

The judges – Leonora Martell-Surtees, daughter of Sir John Surtees and Richard Hammond clearly agreed, awarding the car Best in Class. The car caught the attention of Neil Fletcher and the whole judging panel with XKC-044 also being awarded Best in Show.

The second Pendine car on the lawn was the 1964 Abarth-Simca 2000 Corsa, which competed in the 1967 Targa Florio as car number 144, driven by Alfonso Vella. The car displayed in the Targa Florio class to mark the event’s 120th anniversary.

The owner was delighted to receive Runner-Up in class, behind the thoroughly deserving 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.8 RSR.

A huge thank you to our clients for giving us the privilege of sharing these remarkable cars and their stories.

We're delighted to congratulate one of our clients on receiving the Pioneers & Pre-War award at this year's Heveningham Concours with their exceptional 1928 Bugatti Type 37A.

Finding the right car took time. Working alongside James Mitchell, the owners spent several years searching before acquiring this remarkably original Type 37A in early 2025. With just four custodians from new, it is regarded as one of the most original examples in existence.

Having remained in a private collection from 1971 until 2025, Heveningham marked the car's first public appearance since its time in the Henri Malartre Museum during the 1960s. To see it recognised on its return to the concours lawn made the occasion all the more special.

Congratulations to the owners on a thoroughly deserved result, seen here receiving the award from Heveningham Concours Judges’ Chairman, Max Hunt.

Four Jaguar C-Types together is a rare enough sight. Seeing them driven and enjoyed as intended is rarer still.

Recently, Tony Purnell's beautifully restored blue and white C-Type joined three others at Bicester Motion, bringing together family, friends and fellow enthusiasts to celebrate the latest chapter in the car's remarkable story.

Special thanks to Richard Frankel for XKC-005, CKL Developments & Fiskens for XKC-006, Wrightson Automotive and the private collector that provided XKC-013.
