IMPORTANT - if you are visiting Y Sgubor in the future and using google maps to get there, please DO NOT use our postcode unless you want to end up lost in the forestry opposite the house. Instead share these GPS coordinates with your fellow guests to get directions to the door of the cottage (52.8148357, -3.4402308)

The Melangell Pilgrimage walk from our doorstep is well-signposted and takes you on a 2.5 hour walk to Lake Vyrnwy hotel where a pub or afternoon tea awaits. It’s a lovely walk that continues beyond the lake but you will probably want to head back once you reach the lake to soak those muscles in the tub.
