Hi everyone,

I hope you are all doing well 🙂

Just a quick one to let my customers know that I am currently having an issue with my text messages / iMessages.

People have reported either not receiving my messages at all, or only receiving the first line of the message.

If anyone has experienced this issue on an iPhone before, and knows what may be causing it or how to fix it, I’d be super grateful for any help!

I’ve checked all the settings and nothing has changed or looks to be set up wrong… so I’m at a loss as to what may be causing it! 🤷🏻

Another big day today, including a couple of the biggest cleans I have on my Kirkby/Sutton round.

Despite the heat, I managed to get all of my work done today and received some lovely feedback on the cleans.

One of the customers asked if I could include the garage doors on their clean, and I was able to get them looking like new 👌🏻

I also had a first clean today, for a relative of one of my regular customers. The windows / doors had not been cleaned since they moved in last year, and they suspect the previous tenant had not cleaned them for some years.

It took a decent amount of time, but I managed to get everything looking loads better for them.

I still have limited availability on both my Kirkby/Sutton/Newstead/Underwood and Kimberley/Eastwood/Nuthall rounds, so please let me know if you, or someone you know, would like a quote for monthly cleans 🙂

If you get a spare 5 minutes, can you please leave a review on my page?

I’ve recently learned that the volume and overall rating of your reviews can have an impact on the exposure your posts get and how likely your adverts etc will be bumped up the algorithm.

A 100% rating (which I’m currently sitting at!), means that my posts hit more potential customers.

It makes sense that Facebook is less likely to increase the exposure for a business or page that is receiving very few or negative reviews…

It will only take a matter of minutes for a review to be posted on my page, but it will make a massive difference to me.

Especially as I’m on the final push now to get a full customer list - I would love to achieve this before my business hits its first birthday in September!

Just a really quick reminder / request from me, if I could have a moment of your time please! 📢

If paying by bank transfer, can you please ensure that when entering the reference for the payment, that you use the first line of your address (the house number and postcode is fine also).

When doing my admin at the weekend, it can be difficult to match payments with the relevant customers, when I’m confronted by 20-30 payments that just say ‘Window Cleaning’.

I’ve got quite good now at remembering that the payments are for window cleaning, as I don’t offer dog walking, phone/laptop repairs or nail extensions (yet).

By all means put ‘Windows’ or ‘Ant Windows’ etc on the end of the payment reference (or anything to help you identify the payment), but please also include your house number and street name!

If you pay by cash, please be aware you do not need to include a reference, as I am often looking at the house and you, the customer, as I receive the money, so I can usually match these payments.

A first clean done for a customer who is opening a new Cosmetic Business (Halo Ink), on Main Street in Kimberley, ready for their opening day tomorrow.

Both an outside clean and a traditional clean of the inside of the shop front window done for them 👌🏻🪟🧽

They will be offering fine line tattoos, and permanent eyebrow tattoos (and other cosmetic treatment), as well as having an eye lash tech. They are also looking for a nail tech apprentice currently.

Whilst I’m not currently in need of cosmetic treatment, as I am beautiful enough, I’m a big believer in promoting local business, so if this is something that would interest you, pop in tomorrow for their grand opening and say hello 🙂

I am accepting new commercial / business customers, as well as standard window clean customers in the areas I cover, so please get in touch if you would like a quote for regular cleans 👍🏻

Just a quick reminder, since the forecast is looking pretty wet for the next week and I’ve picked up a lot of new customers lately!

Rain doesn’t affect the quality of the clean at all, as I am only using 100% purified water and I use zero soaps or chemicals when cleaning with the pole system.

Your windows will still stay just as clean, even if it rains before, during, or after I’ve done the clean 👍🏻

My ‘quality clean guarantee’ always stands, and if you are ever anything less than entirely satisfied with the clean, then let me know and I will come back and redo them for you, completely free of charge.

The only time I will cancel a clean due to the weather is if there is a big storm forecast with high winds, or if I’ve gotten absolutely drenched and I need to go home to dry off…

Always happy to do my best to reschedule cleans for a legitimate reason, but please do not ask me to reschedule your clean just because there is some rain forecast.

Also just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has shared, reacted to, or commented on my recent posts.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend 🙂

Some of you may already know that I am a founding member of a local Community Allotment, based in Eastwood.

We are soon going to be starting educational sessions on growing your own veg and creating a sustainable and safe space for nature and wildlife. So if you could give our small group a follow I would be incredibly grateful, as the more people we can reach, the better.
