‼️Landlords/Tenants the law has changed‼️

Awaab’s Law is now fully enforced. 👊🏼
But what is Awaab’s Law? 🤔

🦠Awaab's Law requires landlords to:

* Investigate and report
Landlords must begin investigating reported hazards within 14 days and provide a written report within that time frame. 🗒️🖊️

* Repair
Landlords must initiate repairs within 7 days of the investigation and address emergency repairs within 24 hours. 🪜🛠️

* Keep records
Landlords must keep a clear record of correspondence with residents and contractors. 🗓️🧾

The law was fully enacted on 27th October 2025. Some MPs have called for the law to be applied to the private rented sector as well. 🤔
