My work phone will be switched off over the weekend, so I won’t be responding to any work messages while I spend some quality time with my little boy and my family for my birthday🥳💓

I’m not just a cleaner✨🫧

Cleaning isn’t just about scrubbing bathrooms, mopping floors, or cleaning kitchens.

It’s knowing that my clients have had a stressful day at work and are coming home to a clean house where they can instantly feel a sense of relief.

It’s knowing I’ve helped someone who has a busy family life, a demanding job, is expecting a baby, or is simply struggling.

It’s the conversations between cleans, the trust, and the relationships that are built over time. My clients aren’t just a number to me, I genuinely care about them.

It’s turning a chaotic house into a calm, welcoming environment. It’s finding happiness in the smallest details.

Some days are hard work. Some days are exhausting. But knowing I’ve made even the smallest difference to someone’s life gives me the motivation to keep going🫧💓

The best part about owning my own cleaning business is being able to negotiate my working days and times during the school holidays to suit not only me, but my clients too. It works out so well, and it means I get to spend quality one-on-one time with Finley.

I always notice such a difference when we spend the day together, and it makes those memories even more special.

Today we went up to Sutton Bank, and we both faced our fears.

Mine was driving up the hill. I’ve hated that climb ever since I was little and used to close my eyes whenever I was a passenger. In the eight years I’ve been driving, I’ve only driven up it twice… until today!

Finley faced his fear by trying out the new bike tracks and the pump track, and he did so well. We’ve been twice now, and both times he hasn’t fallen off… apart from when he was standing still and somehow managed to go over the handlebars. Just don’t ask! 😂

I hope everyone is enjoying their first week of the holidays💓
