Today we tackled a problematic reoccurring issue with Seagulls nesting and becoming dominant over the area, affecting the homeowners use and enjoyment of their own garden. These deterrents used will help deter the gulls from using this as a nesting site, without causing any harm to them. A mixture of ridge spikes, standard spikes and the new Irritators used.

📃The league title might be wrapped up but we have no intention of taking our foot off the gas. Tomorrow we welcome Wadebridge Camels to HQ in our final home league match of the season. Wasn't too long since our last meeting with the Camels, an enthralling match that finished 26-28 to us. A couple of changes to that title sealing side that beat Newton Abbot. Bovingdon, Lock, Harding return in the forwards to the starting XV whilst Shane O'Hanrahan and Tom Oxland are two switches in the backline. A massive congratulations to Will Humphreys whose on the bench for his 1st XV debut having impressed in a 2s shirt where he recently brought up a hundred points. Special day for our scrum half James Mattin who'll make his 50th appearance too.

📃Tomorrow's 1st XV to face Newton Abbot. Your matchday eighteen hoping to make history and seal our place as champions with another win. Three changes to the squad that beat Cullompton, Ethan Barnasachone returns at ho**er, Max Hammond replaces Austin on the wing and Dan Lock slots in via the bench. A single point, even with defeat is enough to ensure we cannot be caught as champions. However we will of course be going for the win and to get over the line in style. Newton Abbot are second bottom so have plenty to play for themselves being in a scrap at the foot of the table. Do not consider this a certainty though as Newton Abbot, despite their league position, are in an encouraging vain of form. They're coming off the back of a very important win against Teignmouth and have lost just twice in their last six including two draws. Make sure, if you're not watching the games at home, to travel and watch the lads hopefully get over the line.

📃Our final home teamsheet of 2024 for the 1st XV as we host Winscombe. Marcus Cottle, Christian Edbrooke and Chris Bryant all return to the starting XV, in the backline Joe Cave and George Holwill also suit up from the off. Winscombe currently sit sixth in the table with five wins and five losses, one of those defeats came out our hands on Matchday 2. Their danger is very real though with them showing their potential by being the only side other than us to have beaten second placed Tiverton.
