We weren't sure if guests had checked out or simply vanished in a hurry... 😅

Dirty dishes, overflowing bins, two very dirty ovens, soiled towels and enough mess to keep us on our toes, but 18 man hours later it's looking like a completely different property! 🏡✨

The reality of holiday let cleaning is that every changeover is different. No matter the condition we find a property in, our job is to make sure the next guests walk into a spotless, welcoming space.

I'm glad to say it's ready for the next guests and thankfully, so are we! 😂 Luckily the other three properties today weren't left bad!!

*NOTE - it's a 10-bedroom property which takes us anywhere between 12 and 16 hours to clean on a "normal changeover.

I have noticed that some holiday let owners underestimate the importance of combining cleaning with preventative maintenance.

🔗Preventative maintenance is always cheaper than the repair, it's catching small issues early and keeping the property in great condition.

For holiday lets, this helps avoid:

❌️Guest complaints
❌️Refunds
❌️Lost bookings
❌️Expensive emergency call-outs

My husband also helps with maintenance on some of the holiday lets I clean, but spaces are very limited.

*This is an optional add-on service, booked with him directly and is not included in my cleaning rates. I can definitely pass his number on if interested.

Good morning!!! ☕️

Almost managed a full day off yesterday... Almost!! 🤣

Got a call to check a property that supposedly had a spider and fly infestation. When I arrived, it turned out to be "just" a very Northumbrian countryside classic - midges. 🫣

Back to work today, motivated and strong! 💪 We have four properties to clean. 😊
