Leaf clearances are starting early this year it seems.

We also treat timber structures to kill off microbial activity and preserve the structure.

The treatment kills all organic growth which over time degrades the wood.

With the aid of the wind and rain, the structure will now continue to self clean over the coming weeks.

The moss was damaging this roof by causing the tile corners to crack.

While most of the cracks are cosmetic I.e missing corners, some are worse and causing the roof to not be watertight.

The moss is not just moss, it is an entire ecosystem on your roof and is natures way of making a start at trying to reclaim what we took from it.

Once there are holes in your roof, it begins to cause more problems including leaks, rotting timber, access points for creatures etc.

The longer you leave it, the worse it becomes and the more costly the solution.

We have purchased a second pole, enabling us to remove moss, and treat roofs with more efficiency.

Rather than use a pressure washer, we mechanically remove moss from roofs (or any other exterior surface), then apply biocide treatments to effectively kill any remaining organic matter.

Post treatment, the remaining dead organic matter biodegrades and weathers away, leaving the surface clean and moss and algae free, restoring much of its original colour and preventing further damage caused by moss.
