POV: You’re trying to clean houses during a UK heatwave… 🥵🧽☀️

It’s been a super hot day today and after 7 hours of cleaning, I’m officially melted! 😂

A few tips to help keep your home cooler during the hot weather:

❄️ Keep curtains and blinds closed on windows that get direct sunlight
🌙 Open windows in the evening and early morning when it’s cooler outside
💨 Use fans to circulate air around the room
🔥 Avoid using ovens during the hottest part of the day
💧 Stay hydrated and keep a bottle of water nearby
🧺 Fresh bedding and clutter-free rooms can help your home feel fresher and more comfortable

🧰 Thursday Trusty Tool 🧰

One of my favourite items in my cleaning kit has to be my trusty pet hair scraper🐾

You’d be amazed at how much pet hair sits deep in carpets, even after they’ve been thoroughly vacuumed. A hoover can only pick up so much, but this little tool pulls out all the stubborn hair that’s trapped in the fibres.

The amount that comes out is always shocking 😳

If you have pets, regular carpet cleaning combined with a pet hair scraper can make a huge difference to the look, feel, and freshness of your home.
