One of the unexpected joys of my job is the bond I build not just with my clients, but with their pets too. Over time, they really do become little friends of mine — from parrots and tortoises to cats and dogs, each one has their own personality.

This past week has been especially sad, as Teddy was laid to rest yesterday at the grand age of 15. He was always so happy to see me whenever I arrived to clean, and I’ll truly miss him.

Rest in peace, Teddy ❤️
