If you have invested in some nice swimwear for your upcoming holidays this year, you will want to ensure that it doesn’t get ruined by chlorine. Chlorine lingering on your swimsuit will cause it to fade, so here’s how to ensure you properly remove it.
👙Rinse immediately in cold water after you have worn it, to ensure the chlorine doesn’t sit in the garment until washed properly.
👙If you are abroad, and don’t have access to a washing machine, always pack a small pack of washing powder in your case and leave it to soak in warm water and some washing powder whilst you shower and get ready. You can then rinse it with clean water and leave it to air dry.
👙once home, if the smells persist, add one cup of baking soda, and one cup of white vinegar to the washing machine along with all your swimwear and wash on a gentle wash. It will then have a smell of vinegar, so wash again in a normal quick wash to remove this.
We hope you found this useful, make sure to save this post so you can make use of it over the summer months!
