Afternoon well spent at sampling Amsterdam’s favourite vegan ramen, washing it all down with a spritz, and getting to know the team behind .

Astush’s completely new style of soupless ramen has very unique flat textured noodles. Even though he’s not vegan himself, he wanted to show the world he could “make it plant-based for the sake of the planet”. But most importantly, make it just as satisfying.

We’ve been collecting old matchbooks and boxes for years. Japanese ones are some of our favourite, informed by the history of woodblock printing yet decidedly modern. Immediately we’re transported to moody candlelit bars with Art Deco flair.
