Rosie Bloom is in honour of Chantelle’s beloved elderly mother Rose, a well respected former professional cleaning lady and Homemaker Assistant for 30+ years, who suf

fered with Alzheimer’s Disease/Dementia and sadly passed away 17th March 2022. Our founder is a mother to two children who genuinely loves to clean and takes full pride and responsibility in her work. She is an Accredited Real Living Wage Employer and a member of independent organisation The Real Living Wage Foundation. We are committed to ensure our customers receive a dependable and professional heart led experience while using our service. Our team members are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked and voluntarily paid above London living wage in London. Rosie Bloom Cleaning Services has proudly, voluntarily paid (above) the recommended London Living Wage hourly rate via Living Wage UK for 5 years to present day.

During the start of the pandemic, I decided to leave the Travel Retail, Leisure and Tourism Industry (2001-2020) as an Independent Travel Consultant; to expand the service and share an opportunity to secure employment and earn money.

I watched mum, our Rose make a concerted effort to water and nourish herself like a growing flower and plant, living life abundantly - despite the on-going challenges, demands, obstacles and time restraints being a mother, grandmother and working woman, cleaning to earn a living.

Wellbeing - emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually has been at the forefront of our ethos; as a result of Roses' blueprint and the example Rose set. We continue to offer women specifically seeking safe and stable cleaning work with flexible hours.

Yes, it's hard going - especially when profit margins can be low as a consequence of the unpredicatable variables that come with operating a customer based service and in a competitive, saturated space that's occupied by micro and small cleaning businesses.

That being said, I'm guided by faith and favour and in honour of Rose, will continue to navigate with a moral compass and voluntarily offer the london living wage.

Seeing a book exchange dotted around is a pleasure and a special way to share and spread the word/love of books. These are right up my street - pun intended, curiosity always gets the better of me and stops me in my tracks.

Side note: Also, might as well add in another 2 pennies - September is traditionally one of the busiest months of the year in the publishing and book trade industry.

💗🌸 A time was had Northside in Kentish Town at Social Pottery for my niece Nylah Naomi’s Earthday. Great choice and idea on her part for us all to sit down and paint while having a natter - my sister, our Maxine and her quick witted quips, making us giggle/laugh out loud.

Lovely, calm ambience - great for the spirit, mind, body and soul and to get the creative energy and stimuli going. Good quality water soluble oil paints, an impressive number of different pottery designs to pick and choose and gorgeous colours and stencils.

Perfect for children, teenagers and adults alike and the team on hand were friendly and helpful. We look forward to see the end results in a few weeks.

Highly, highly recommend Social Pottery for a fun, peaceful and purposeful group get-to-together and special occasion 🌸💗.

We had all but closed up shop for the summer break and then a sudden window of availability has come into vision earlier than expected - and we've been inundated with some lovely messages from people who are now new customers, welcome aboard!

Thank you, thank you, thank youuuu to Mrs Parisa Smith and to all of our loyal, fabulous customers who give us a shout out from their roof tops.

It's funny because with social media, it's so easy to be fictitious and gloss over things w/ a pretty bow on it, I'm super duper elated how Rosie Bloom Cleaning Services comes across without all the faffing about.

A big reminder this past week has been that - what is done in love, with a full heART and is based on facts, is done well. We'll continue to be of service and move with the times based on depth and reality over being a follower of what's popular and perceived to be trendy, forever.

It's not ideal to be unable to give a slot and we do try to make room and be flexible, as best we can. Six weeks school holidays is approaching, in addition to the scorching, intense heat and unfortunately we cannot offer any availability. We've received a spate of enquiries via our website in recent weeks and we appreciate/grateful for the interest.

By September (another new year month for me of renewal and planning) after Spring Equinox) we will be ready to open up again and support more beautiful homes. Please feel free to contact me with requirements and potential start dates, in advance, if needed.

It's currently Peony season and blooms are fully in peak. This elegantly layered, bauble-esque flower helps to represent the reason and meaning behind todays post.

We've made no secret of how challenging it is at times during phases of running Rosie Bloom Cleaning Services. It's like being back in the playground and school yard, and leads to my favourite saying to sum things up - swings and roundabouts, tears and smiles in sunshine and showers.

The beauty in all of this is going day by day, half-glass full always, staying present in the moment and keeping it true. As a service and brand, we are quietly going through a transitional period and it's both frightening and exhilarating all at once...to see how far I've come and the direction I'm now heading. And this rings the same for many women close to us and women sharing mutual safe spaces online and offline; who are experiencing life changing events and making neccesary, serious changes.

For as we grow older, finding the answers to why we are here, trying to figure it all out and our perception of time - becomes even more significant.

When I look at a Peony and reflect, placing each one in a glass vase - petals...closed and open, l feel mediative emotions and see and feel lots of ness - boldness, wellness, kindness, happiness, fullness and epicness. And of course - cleanliness. The traditional symbolism of the Peony is healing - health and recovery, love and romance, good fortune and prosperity and there are many more cultural and spiritual interpretations around the globe.

Get to your nearest and dearest florist and/or home and garden centre and adorn your window sill, table, shelf, mantlepiece or wherever the focal point is - an treat yourself to a stunning bouquet.

I'm sending out the vision and sentiments of the Peony in all of her crystal clear clarity to everyone, along with lots of ness - as we transcend into the second half of the year.

To clean is to care and bathrooms are forever under the spotlight when the skyline gets brighter during spring and summer months.

We operate with a natural, holistic approach and it's eye opening the amount of dust particles that float around and settle in and around the home and place of business/service.

Consequently, sunlight offers us an advantage and acts as a microscope that helps to tackle dust and busy areas that get grubby. We're trying to work smarter and not harder and make the most of blue skies and sun beams to leave important spots gleaming and basking in freshness.

Still limited in availability yet there are a handful of slots up for the taking in Catford area, SE6, Lewisham/Ladywell/Hither Green, SE13 and Greenwich area, SE10.

Hello and welcome,

My name is Chantelle Louise Welsh, mother to two children and Hygiene is top of my list. I offer a natural, holistic approach to cleaning with a preference for plant and fruit ingredient-based products.

Services are pet friendly (we own a cat; a talkative, fluffy ball of shedding hair and mischief named Tequila) cater to families and available to anyone who could use some help and save time in maintaining a tidy, clean home and business environment.

Rosie Bloom is in honour of my mother Rose; who for over 30 years a loved and well respected cleaner, now has Dementia. She scrubbed, dusted, mopped, hoovered and polished her way into peoples hearts. Italian car manufacturer Fiat, her most prominent long term client.
