I am pleased to announce that this week On Cloud Shine became a member of the London Living Wage scheme.
As a small business, I feel that it is important to pay employees and sub-contractors the London living wage as a minimum. We are entering challenging times and as an employer I want to ensure that everyone who works for On Cloud Shine is paid a wage that meets their everyday needs, therefore I wanted to show my commitment by making sure everyone who works for or on behalf of my business is paid a minimum of £13ph.
Working within the cleaning industry, it is very easy to pay staff so much less, but the one thing that the pandemic has taught me is how important cleaning staff is to every business’ or institutions and I wanted to show how much On Cloud Shine appreciates and value them all.
I am so proud to be a fully certified Living Wage Foundation employer and I hope to see more cleaning companies becoming a member in the future!
