Lastly a day job for a repeat client. As you can see that plasteeing wasnt great...holes and gaps all along and 6 cracks through the middle, so before anythubg can be done we neededcto get it back to looking like a proper ceiling!

Not been able to post for a while due to a serious illness that had me in bed for over a week so ipdatibg with a couple of new jobs.

First off 2 large rooms all painted in white but the prep needed was astronomical....it took 2 days just fill fill and sand one room to get it ready for a mist coat (i wanted to do a mist coat because the walls had been painted that badly that my guess was they wernt painted properly, so if you just go in and paint youll end up with peeling and blistering). Also got a load of architraves done but didnt take any photos of them, and a double banister, forgot to take before photos, but honestly...it was not good!
Clients now booking in for future work next year, and that shows me im doing my job well

Only just able to post this job as managed to get gloss in my eye which meant i couldnt realy see properly for a while!

Anyway, new client whos just left a lovely ely review, this room just needed a lot of tlc before the painting. There were massive cracks all around the ceiling and window which neede alot of work, and as the room was prone to cracking i decided to caulk both top and bottom, all 4 corners and all around the window including around and under the windowsill...this will ensure the cracking wont come back...my job is not just to get it looking good now but for the next few years!

Apologies to e eryine whos been awaiting me to get back to them with quotes and times for quotes the last 2 weeks. I had a little break and couldnt send anythibg where i was and then managed to pick up the most horrendous bug and have only just got out of bed, so il be replying to everyone in the next 14 hours, just bear with me please

Just got round to uploading last weeks job as havnt been very well past couple of days, a mix of a cold, a splinter in my eye and lots of glosswork knocked me out! So this job was for a lovely lady, i wanted to get this room back to looking its best, so the large gaps in the windowsill needed filling and sealing, and all the old paint being removed from the dado rail and the windowsill, along with fixing all the chasing in marks on the main walls

New week new job...not only do you do a mist coat to seal the surface ready for painting, but your mist coat shows were the problems are...so you can get it perfect before painting...

Job for last week which rolled into today due to illness and the client suffering a personal tragedy, which i wont go into here as its not my info to give; but suffice to say the lady is lovely and my heart goes out to her and i hope to stay in contact with her in the future.

So this job took a lot of work, ceiling were freahly plastered, but badly, holes and gaps everywhere, walls had never been sanded...wodwork had never been sanded and had layer upon layer of old gloss with brush hairs and strokes and bits of fluff in it all over the place. So...one and a half tins of primer, 6 tubs of filler, 3 tubes of caulk later and then all painted we get it looking like this

Lastly the bedroom. If you zoom into the main wall you might be able to see just how bad the cracking was on the full corners, again a lot of prep went into this. I always say every job is circa 80% prep before any 'real' paint goes on

2nd job was the hsl, and this might have started as i was getting over the initial illness...as i forgot to take before photos; but 4 tubes of caulk and 278 nail holes later we ended up with this

First of 3 jobs for a brand new client, with more work being booked in for next spring. Ive not been able to post abything for a couple of weeks due to a few bouts of realy bad sickness (that may be because i was working 12 hour days and not realy sleeping so may have just worked myself to the point of exhaustion). But also, my business number and page have been offline whilst facebook sorted out the company in brighton using my work as their own! Fortunatly its all been sorted out and theyve now been banned from using facebook in any business capacity.

So firslty the lounge, i always feel the photos dont realy show you just how much was wrong that needed to be put right. The media wall looks ok in the before photos, but 2 coats of bin ahowed just how bad it was, with gaps and holes everywhere. Also 2 nails had been bent over in the skirting boards, and the owner hadnt been told...
