Following on from my post the other day i thought it a good idea to follow that up. Currently its reading minus 4 at 9.20am. There needs to be a swing of at least +6-7 degrees to get windows cleaned to avoid it freezing and turning to slush on the glass.. and that’s being generous in the sun. Could be close to 0 in the shaded areas. That swing might happen and if it does, usually happens closer to 11am. That doesnt leave a big window to get much done if any at all. As i said, this time of year is difficult and i ask for your continued patience until the weather improves. I haven’t forgotten about you. 😃

Happy new year to all! Unfortunately with this time of year the weather does not help too kindly with window cleaning.. consistent minus temperatures makes it hard to get much done. Windows of opportunity become less and work slows. I will try to get out and get some windows clean but they will be less frequent until the better weather arrives. I appreciate your patience.

Hello everyone. Its been a while since i posted last and I just wanted to take the time to provide a little update. Despite my lack of social media activity i have been working as hard as usual getting out and undertaking my regular window cleaning as well as a few extra bits and bobs throughout the year. We are now nearing the end of the year and with that comes the early dark nights, cold frosty days and the wind and rain. With that it means my window of opportunity to clean your windows decreases and as a result might mean longer in between each clean.

I thank you for your support and if i dont see you before then, have a great Christmas and new year.

Hello everyone! I havent been posting much lately but i have been super busy behind the scenes. I am working hard to keep up with my regular customers and now fitting in their spring clean of the 1st floor frames and sills by hand where required. With that being said i have unfortunately no availability for new customers. Any more would affect the quality of work. However i am great full that so many people have made contact over the past month.. somewhere in the region of 15 potential new customers and i hate to let people down and i apologise if my replys have not been as prompt as i would have liked. This 1 man band is now at capacity and i feel will be for the remainder of this year.

Going forward i definitely see the potential for expansion and that is my plan. I dont actively advertise for customers but more and more keep getting in contact. I think after some more planning my business may change from a wee part time sole trader to one full time employee. This prospect is exciting but comes with many challenges and risks for myself. However i feel this would be a step in the right direction and one of a slight reward for what i have built from nothing.

What this will most probably mean going forward will be a slightly different way of working for my regular customers and for their information and any new customer reading this or being recommended would mean no more 5weekly cleans but brought down to 4 weekly! This change would be essential to make the business work. It would also mean a new employee taking on the work until they had their own established round working to my standards.

This is just in the early planning stages and will be about 12 months away from being a reality but i would just like to thank you for your custom past, present and hopefully for the future.

Chris.

One of my customers asked if i could give the outside of their gutter a clean up today as it was rather dirty. As you can see from the half way mark just what a difference this made.

Happy new year everyone and another happy new customer. My pricing includes all frames, sills, glass and doors.
